There has been some arguments about faith being true.
So why don't those arguing against it prove Christ to be false complete with actual evidence and show God has lied in his promises
in the OT.
So I guess that is an end to the matter. We can know faith is true and God is real and atheists just have to accept that what they cannot
disprove means it can be accepted as existing.

Sorry, but you're the ones claiming an invisible sky-daddy is real, the burden of proof is therefore on you.
Going by your logic, you cannot disprove that an invisible, intangible, pink unicorn that farts dreams lives above my house, therefore it must be real. See how ridiculous you sound?
Fuck's sake, I believe in a higher power and I don't buy this poorly constructed argument. The burden of proof is on the one making the positive assertion (There is X, or there is no X [as opposed to there is no evidence of X, or that you have no proof of X].). You are making such an assertion. Therefore the burden of proof is on you. The atheist is (I assume) saying you cannot prove X and/or have no evidence of X.
Just saying "I'm Right because I'm Right" does not work.
All we have to do is point out the inconsistencies in the bible. That was enough to seal the deal for me. Especially the numerous times Jesus predicted his return during the lifetimes of his disciples & others he spoke to.
But if you want me to believe your religion is true, then YOU prove to ME beyond any doubt I have and then I'll believe it.
I am a god. In fact, I am your god's God. Prove that I'm not, with actual evidence.
You can't? Must be true, then.
There's an extremely good reason why - certainly here in Britain - it's extremely illegal to shout 'Fire!' in a public place: particularly a shopping mall, train station/airport etc.
Even doing so 'as a Joke' is worse than Lying.
But that's exactly what your 'God' did, when he ordered Abraham to murder his own son, Isaac. Then essentially saying 'Lol, j/k, k?'
What does a transcendent being want with 'Sacrifices'? Why would a transcendent being that claims to be the ultimate arbiter of morality Lie ?
Also, a certain 'Covenant' with a certain 'Chosen People'. A survivor of the Nazis' ultimate death factory Auschwitz I met & talked with told me of when he saw his entire family murdered by the SS, he said then - as he does to this day - 'The Covenant has been broken. He is no longer here!'.
As a fellow concentration camp inmate carved on a cell wall :
If there is a god, he will have to beg for my forgiveness
Frankly, your 'God' had better not exist, if he knows what's good for him.
As Bill Nye said when asked about what can they do to convince you that you are wrong. His answer was "Evidence". Ken Ham on the other hand when asked what can they do to convince you that you are wrong, he said "Nothing will convince me."
Now Sassy, let's pretend that you are Ken and I am Bill.
@P.E.T.F:
"For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords".
I'm not seeing it. Did you reference the wrong passage? Because that would be absolutely lovely to have when they pull their "everything except Yahweh has to have a cause" crap. "Actually~..."
@Anon-e-moose
That reminds me. I always imagined that if god were to turn out to be real, and we ever met face-to-face, he'd have a LOT of explaining to do. Not just for me, but for everyone and everything. Ever.
And if the answers aren't satisfying enough, I'm going to do what the Sisko did to Q. Punch the jerkass god.
There are a literally, an infinite amount of things that I cannot disprove. Limited only by my, or other people's, imagination. Should I have to accept EVERYTHING as true?
Confused?
