[ on laws against deliberate hiv transmission ]
And this is why I, like many others, proactively refuse to get tested: Best case scenario, the test comes back negative. Worst case scenario, I go from being a human to a deadly weapon in a matter of seconds. In that case, thanks but I would rather risk your safety than to jeopardize my entire life and future . Until you give me a better choice, that is sadly the only option I can see, because I refuse to open myself up to that kind of liability for any and every opportunistic leech or mentally unsound person that learns of my status. No status = no problem. If you want my compliance with testing, quit using laws like this to criminalize homosexuality by proxy.”

Yeah, that's rational. You think there's too much hysteria in how people treat AIDS and HIV, then act irresponsibly and give more power to the fear-mongerers. Do your bit to help bring about mandatory testing and harsher penalties.
I would rather risk your safety than to jeopardize my entire life and future
Sociopath.
"I'd rather potentially kill you by not telling you I have a deadly disease than kill the mood by taking five seconds to tell you that I do."
Considering you are only required to tell the people you intend to have sex with that you have HIV fearmongering about random bigots on the streets who don't know you from Adam falls to pieces. And being a deliberate spreader of the disease give the lunatic fringe ammo to work with. You're hiding behind sexuality and prejudice associated with it rather than protecting yourself against it.
You just don't like things to interfere with your wants and you're willing to ruin lives to keep the good times rolling. You're sick and you make me sick.
You are a selfish prick of the highest caliber. You don't care in the slightest about the life or wellbeing of anyone else as long as your precious fee fees aren't hurt. Get tested, use protection, and stop being a selfish plague-bearer.
You and all the others like you can go join the anti-vaxxers on the "Go Fuck yourselves" tour.
If you have HIV, you are already a deadly weapon, nincompoop.
Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment, it's not supposed to be seen as real.
You'd rather risk killing people than use a condom?
What if YOU don't have it now, but your intended sexual partner thinks like YOU do. Then it's YOUR safety that is being risked, so that he/she won't have to use a condom, or to get tested.
It's not about criminalizing homosexuality, stupid, but unsafe sex.
"I would rather risk your safety than to jeopardize my entire life and future....er, my enjoyment. Your life means less than my pleasure. I don't want the liability for your death even though I am liable."
And that's why you are a sociopath, Joseph.
You know, Joseph, if less people had the mentality you had, then you might not have had HIV to begin with. STDs are considered a pandemic, after all, and we'll never get rid of it as long as homicidal, batshit crazy psychopaths like you keep going out of their way to spread it.
I got a better idea. If you don't disclose and someone dies, you get charged with first degree murder.
How's that for jeopardizing your life and future?
"I would rather risk your safety"
Then you have no right to complain about being treated as a risk to other's safety, because YOU ARE.
There are people who abstain from sex without having STDs. It's not the end of the world.
And quit hiding behind the LGBT movement. You're as big a part of of the march towards equal rights as feet on a fish.
If he takes the test and finds out he's positive he can receive treatment. Otherwise he just walks around getting nearer and nearer to a painful early death.
It would be interesting to see his reaction to the above argument.
If you have HIV then have sex with other people who have HIV. Problem solved and you don't start any new infections. There are plenty of dating sites to find other HIV+ people.
Besides that if you have HIV and don't know it and it goes untreated you'll most likely die an early death. Otherwise treatment may allow you to live a normal lifespan, probably even live long enough to see a cure.
Confused?
