No, we (or at least I) have always been human. And monkeys are monkeys. Both humans and monkeys, however, share a common ape-like creature that lived a reeeaaaally long time ago (as in way more than 6000 years.)
Actually, with enough heat and pressure, you can make a fossil in about 45 seconds. Unfortunately, the only place on the planet earth you can get conditions like that are in controlled laboratory experiments. Anywhere else on the planet you have to do it the slow, natural way, which takes one HELL of a long time.
She's probably thinking in terms of days as in II Peter where a day to God is as a thousands years. Oh, wait, no, that would require her to actually BE thinking.
Yes, since SCIENCE can identify what it takes to fossilize a carcase or plant, they can reproduce the effect under labratory or industrial processes. This involves a system of controlled pressure, heat and isolation under strict order.
We can make oil, and do, we make it from vegetation, it cost more than pulling pools of this from under the surface that happened NATURALLY over millions of years under pressure NATURALLY.
We can also make diamonds, since they're rarer industrial diamonds have a viable market and cosmetic ones have found the market only since that worked
By the looks of this post, you still are a monkey, with your 30 day fossils and shit... But no, we didn't used to be monkeys, but you keep forgetting that. And everything else basically, regarding evolution.
