My husband, father and mother are saved, but they think I'm nuts. They hold to the "nobody knows for sure" standard. Today my mother told me that she is 'afraid' that a certain person will be elected president, and I just told her I'm not afraid of anything. Later we were shopping and she found a cute shirt that she thought I should have for NEXT Valentine's day. I smiled and said, "Let's wait and see if we're even here next year." She rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, will you stop?" But yeah, everyone seems to think I'm *worried* about it and they can't seem to understand that I'm excited (and terribly obsessed with the idea).

Terribly obsessed with the idea?
Here, have this shiny "Unintentional Honesty" award. You'd best take it now, before you get Ruptured.
"My husband, father and mother are saved, but they think I'm nuts."
Sounds like the right people are looking after you, then. Maybe they're planning an intervention and you don't know it.
That's a concept. A 'Fundie Intervention".
My husband, father and mother are saved, but they think I'm nuts.
So at least there's still some hope for them.
I think that she doesn't realise that, what she's doing, is a manifestation of dementia. In fact, if "saved" guys and close to her think she's nuts, it means that SHE NEEDS HER MEDS. Or maybe she's not mad(she just doesn't happen to be very smart)but her family is worried about her anyway. It may mean something, in any case.
1) "My husband, father and mother are saved" from what, you !
2) "Today my mother told me that she is 'afraid' that a certain person will be elected president" aren't we all, a geriatric or a a guy who admits he doesn't know maths but knows miracles. Fuck it scare me too.
3) "Later we were shopping and she found a cute shirt that she thought I should have for NEXT Valentine's day." not a shirt but a burka, your mum thought you would look better covered up.
Your Fucked up big time.

{ 'afraid' that a certain person will be elected president }
Who? WHO? Shaking in my boots, oh, WHO can this be? I'm afraid. I'm VERY AFRAID!!!11!!!5!!!
You know, the old saw "Live like there's no tomorrow" is actually pretty crappy advice. Sure, not buying a shirt isn't that big a deal, but things like dropping out of school, not saving money, and the various other acts of people who live in the present are frequently the biggest mistakes they ever make.
Answering the question "Where do you see yourself in five years" with "In Heaven" isn't healthy.
Mmhm. That's because you ARE nuts, and crazy fucks like you have been spouting this same nonsense for centuries. So far the world has not ended.
Don't hold your breath, sweetheart.
This is one of the problems with the internet. It allows people suffering from the same delusion to join together and convince each other their right.
Read the rest of the posts, all Christians are equal but people who sense the end times are more equal than others.
"Then mom turned around and bought three 'I'm with stupid' t-shirts(none in my size, but they fit hubby, dad, and her) and refused to buy me one. I wonder why?"
So the RDY4HIM is certain the rapture is going to happen within one year minus five days? I wonder how many other landmark events she assumed she would never see, but then went lumbering past, her enthusiasm never waning?
"Pah! Why waste time talking about whether or not Bill Clinton is going to get elected? The rapture will definatly, definatly have hit before then!"
This sort of post is too depressing to mock.
@aaa: If that's the case, I have friends who can help with that.
yay ! Billions of people are going to die !
...wait a minute...that's a BAD thing, why are they so looking forward to it ?
Another precious little christian snowflake drama queen. Just what the world needs.
If I was the father of this ignorant, annoying little shithead, I would simply refuse to buy the little bitch ANYTHING other than absolute necessities for a few months. And as with all little emo christian princesses, the bullshit would stop pretty damned quick once she was called on it.
Oh, how I would love to wait outside this girl's window with a trumpet.
The arrest would totally be worth it.
Confused?
