“Evolution and the big bang theory?”
Two incredibly discrete sciences….
“all those who believe in the big bang theory”
That wouldn’t be me.
I accept it as the currently accepted theory of our universe’s beginning, but i don’t ‘believe’ in it.
“answer this one question.if everything was in a ball of gas swirling and swirling”
No. No, the monobloc wasn’t even gas. It was too dense for that.
“then bang it gets sent all over the universe”
Um, no. Wrong again.
The big bang created the universe. Everything that exists was in the monobloc. It WAS the universe. Then it spread out in a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge expansion. Expanding the universe, not expanding INTO the universe.
“ why did it stop?”
Why did what stop? The expansion or your ignorant cartoon of the big bang?
“its space no gravity.”
And yet space separates us from the sun, whose gravity keeps us in orbit around the sun… Confusing, innit?
“there is no reason why it should have stoped.”
It hasn’t.
“there were no stars to pull them in because the big bang had just happened.”
Close… Very close. Meaningless, but close.
“so as you can see if it is not possible why do you believe it”
No, I do not see that it’s impossible. Guess again.
“and if the big bang did not happen”
It did.
“ then doesn't that leave only one option "creatianism"”
Look up false dichotomy. It’s also possible any number of other creation myths happened. I mean, unlikely, but just as possible…
“j.p. its a big explosion that can shoot stars across the universe.”
Sounds like that Chinese Aphorism: It takes a mighty big dog to weigh two tons.
And to blast a star anywhere would be a big explosion.
But the Big Bang wasn’t that, and it didn’t move any stars.
“it shouldn't slow down THERE IS NO GRAVITY IN SPACE.”
Look up ‘the escape velocity of the solar system,’ just for shits and grins.
