1. God =/= Love. So the analogy is false.
2. I do allow e-mail on my YA account, but I can see why many atheists don't. I have received copious amounts of hate mail from Christians, and it does get tiresome after a while.

Fundies have a problem loving their fellow men. Perhaps they should pay more attention to their own Bible.
Actually, it goes the other way around (the love and god thing, not the e-mail thing). Ability to love increases proximity to god. So "love, then god." Not "god, therefore love."

Um, not allowing email... That's, well, sort of an internet thing... You see, junkmail and whatnot - in trying to avoid it, many people (atheists or otherwise) either don't give an email address or give a bogus one... Really, it's not because of a lack of love - we only dislike junkmail, viruses and those sorts of things... Why? Is there something against that in scripture...?
But regarding atheists not knowing love - do you know this as a former atheist? Better yet, do you know this as being several different former atheists?

First of all, you're assuming that the phrase "God is Love" is accurate. Maybe God is hate. How do you know?

On the email--it's called spam. A lot of us get an awful lot of it, and your pithy "witnessing" attempts are just that.
Finally, your god does not equal love. Prove your god exists first. As for love itself--it's one for debate. I personally don't believe in it based on what I see. On the other hand I know plenty of atheists who do. It's one of personal preference, really...

Yeah, but it really isnt logical..seeing that love is an abstract emotion and not an actual entity. Hell, the Greeks worshipped Aphrodite/Venus as the goddess of love.. sense you think shes a false pagan god does that mean you do not believe in love.
as far as atheists not allowing email, I have never seen an atheist site that censors christian comments. I have, on the other hand, seen MANY christian sites that censor everything to make the entire board look like it agrees on a certain topic.
