How should I go about saving the child of my atheist neighbor?
He is 12 years old and DOES NOT BELIEVE IN JESUS!
I have tried inviting him to church but he makes excuses as to why he can't go. I think his atheist parents are coercing him to stay away from God.

He is into video games so for his birthday I bought him the "Left Behind" game so that hopefully he will understand what will happen to this world soon and be willing to accept Jesus into his heart. I have also considered reading bible passages aloud in my backyard when he is outside in his backyard.

What else can I do to get him to understand the fate that awaits him if he fails to accept Jesus?

Quite probably, in the sense that they are encouraging him to believe as they do. (I doubt they would call it coercion, nor staying away from God.) After all, how would you feel if your neighbour started handing out atheism-themed video games and trying to convince them that God is imaginary? you would probably be ridiculously upset, and push your kids to ignore them, tell them they're going to hell, or pray for them (depending what kind of person you are), so why would you expect a different response from your neighbours?

OK, the rest of the crazy crap, I can deal with, it's just annoyance but...the "Left Behind" game?
So you just handed them a game where you are a Christian, and you gun down people you don't agree with (such as atheists, gays, jews, muslims, democrats, etc.), rather than talk things out with them and remain calm... And portray them as demon-infested and out for your blood...

And if an atheist/other detested group were to make a game where Christians were killed, you'd throw a hissy fit and try to get the entire production team thrown in jail for persecuting you with hate speech.

I'm also wondering how you're even supposed to tell they're atheist, gay, etc. Do the atheists run at you swinging copies of Origin of Species? And if it hits you, your faith lowers? Or something? Do the gays wear rainbow and glitter/leather and chains and call you "hunneh" and attack you with limp wrists? What the hell?

Also, you whine about kids playing GTA, and you give this game to a 12 year old...

You could try asking him if he's heard it already. Chances are, he has. The only place people react to the Gospel message with concerned surprise is in Chick tracts.
