Sorry majority rules in this country and Christians are the majority. Please take your seat now.

I think you'll find the duly elected presidential candidate 'rules' (and even then that's not the best term for the job description) and Christianity is not and never has been one of the candidates.
Please sit down and shut up now.
Its majority rule, with respect for the rights of the minority. The Founders were very concerned about "tyranny of the majority", because they were mostly men of wealth and property, and they were concerned that a system of strict majority rule would lead to the common people seizing their assets (which is one of the reasons you originally had to to own property to vote.)
Or, to put it as an example -- if a majority of Tim's neighbors decided that he was a @$$hole and should be tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail, they wouldn't be able to do so, because Tim's rights are protected from that majority.
Let's put it this way. The US is 50% protestant, more or less. Whatever division you are, the majoriy of the Protestant sects would've disagreed with you, especially on the subject on the Hindu priest. This effectively puts you in the minority which advocates the denouncement of all religions other than your own as Satanic.
Whatever happened to live and let live?
The majority rules this country. For example, when the majority in New Jersey, acting through its democratically elected representatives, chooses to enact a gay-rights law, then the Boy Scouts should just -- oops, bad example. Moreover, in the 2000 presidential election -- drat, another bad example.
And by "minority," I obviously meant "majority."
Also, add another point to my blank post abacus. Christ.
Ah, but are they True Christians (TM) ?
I'd be happy to take a seat, though. Go fetch me some iced tea, I'm too busy sitting.
Okay, so Christians the majority, but do fundie Christians outnumber moderate Christians added to everyone else? Don't think so, you lose! Sit on it and spin!PS David Barton has been shown over and over again to be a shyster, fraud, and a liar, by the experts on Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Madison, Monroe, and all the Founding Fathers, for putting fake quotes in the mouth's of famous Americans to fulfil his right-wing theocratic agenda. What the hell do I care what this anti-Constitution scam-artist has to say?
I'm a Libertarian, and I don't give a shit about majority rule.
With your head up your ass, you can't sit down. Can you?
The majority may have the upper hand at any time because of the way it votes, but there are laws and mechanisms that prevent the majority from running roughshod over the rights of the minorities.
So take your majority ass and sit down.
That's why we have a Bill of Rights, Tim: to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.
Well, that is until your President invalidated the Bill of Rights through a string of Executive Orders.
Majority rule.
Not ASSHOLE rule.
Get it straight.
Take your seat not.
"If you're not white, Christian, straight, and male, git yer inferior ass into the back of the bus!"
Seriously, I thought people like this died out in 1964
that's why there are civil rights. so the retarded majority cannot push their mental retardation on others.
Please take your seat now, just sums up Tim's simplisticness, TOO FUNNY!
I wonder if this guy follows his own sentiment after Obama got elected.
Somehow I think he's part of the Fox-watchin', tea-party-goin', birth-certificate-complainin' group that makes up too much of America's population.
Confused?
