You do realize being quoted is an honor?
I am not even remotely persuaded to change my opinion. Do better.
I wonder if you are equally comfortable with locker rooms being shared in that way where people are actually naked in the same room. Or jails where there's literally no privacy, showers are common, toilets are in the same cell with multiple other people. By your logic if I merely claim (no evidence required) that I'm female (cause SJWs have declared gender is how you subjectively FEEL, not what you are and what everyone else can objectively observe about you), then that means I can go into female spaces no questions asked even if I look nothing like a female.
Now let's move on the next big strawman that I'm saying trans people are predators. No, what people are saying is that the rules you SJWs want to set up enable predators (who could be 100% non-trans for all I care) to carry out predatory behavior. Under your system if I wanted to harass women in the bathroom, ALL I'd need to do is CLAIM I'm a woman. I wouldn't even need to lift a finger to even appear female, I wouldn't need to wear women's clothing, use hormones, modify my genitals with surgery, do plastic surgery or even SHAVE my goddamn beard. I'd just need to walk in, claim I'm female (when I'm obviously 100% male that you can see it from miles away) and if the guards want to kick me out, I'd just need to threaten to sue them for "discrimination" because they're "denying my identity" or whatever.
Now sure I CAN be kicked out for harassment, but by then the damage is already done. Better to just keep bathrooms separate.
@SomeApe
What culture?
Heterosexuality is not a culture.
Culture is inevitably based on how the majority of the people want it to be.
While I would get rid of genuinely oppressive cultural norms, there is nothing oppressive about being told to use the other bathroom because of security concerns and because most people just don't want you around there (freedom of association BITCH). The other bathroom is just as functional, go there. Don't like it, then make your own business place where you can have exactly the bathroom policy you want. Hurt feelings =/= oppression. You need a far better reason to change things for the vast majority of people, possibly put them at risk, their children at risk and generally stir up animosity just so less than 0.01% of the population can feel good.
@Swede
Do you have his and hers bathroom at home?
Households are not like places of businesses frequented by hundreds of strangers a day. Rules differ. Putting hundreds of men and women (strangers) in very close proximity when they literally have their pants down is not a good idea. Putting kids and stranger adults in close proximity with their pants down is even worse.
Oh well, you're from Sweden so I don't expect a lot of common sense on these kind of issues. Your indoctrination has probably conditioned you to see a family as just another group of strangers.
As for what to do if you're "non-binary", well, being a freak does have social consequences. It's no different than being kicked out of the place of business for dressing like a crazy person. I mean imagine this: you go into a nice restaurant wearing the most awfully mismatched clown suit imaginable complete with visible tears too. Like I dunno, maybe you have 3 layers of torn winter jackets (during summer), but you're in in your pjs and you're walking with socks, no shoes. Oh and and antenna attached to you head for the lulz.
More power to you if you want to be a freak, but others don't need to be around you.
@Kanna
Their motto is:
Rape is against the law.
Pedophilia is against the law.
Lawbreakers do not respect the law.
Therefore we need to pass a law.
This is not a legal matter, it's a matter of public decency and it's also a matter of prevention. ALL those things are against the law, but that doesn't mean it needs to come to that. A lot of the time cultural norms can prevent it. If you don't put men and women (strangers) in close proximity when their are pants are down there's less chance for rape and other predatory shit like peeping toms.
If you go into the wrong bathroom you shouldn't be prosecuted. But the security guards should be allowed to escort you out because you're bothering the customers and not respecting basic social norms.
SJWs are the ones trying to pass laws to prevent places of business from enforcing the bathroom policy they want. You're not even remotely on the side of freedom here. And freedom means freedom of association too. So if women want their own bathroom and men want their own bathroom, you the 0.01% are in no position to say otherwise.
@Mister Spak
You'd need to be on hormones at the very least, shave bodily hair that sort of thing. Wearing a dress doesn't make you look even remotely female, it just makes you look like a ridiculous man.
