Hey, I give in to the history, it was slang for sex in the car for awhile. But it's been a definition for music for longer AND during the short period the phrase meant sex.
It started in SWING in the THIRTIES for fuck sakes. People had sex in the back seat, front seat, hood and trunk for years before Rock N'roll became a common phrase. By the time it was coined, established, the fifties teenagers were products of it.
People not even remotely got hornier after rock n roll happened. We just got a little more HONEST about it
