The entire western world is based on Christianity. Without Christianity, civilization like ours will not exist! Scientists made the bomb, not G-d!

Well, the greek civilization wasn´t based on christ (no wonder, after all they came centuries before the birth of Jesus) and they even were tolerant concerning homosexuals.
Same goes for the roman civilization :D (at least until shortly before the collapse of rome)

But I agree, that the bomb was made by scientists. God according to the bible didn´t need a bomb to eradicate entire cities and once almost the whole human population on earth.
Strange enough that despite of his powers he ordered his chosen people to fight with sword and spear against other tribes, often even ordering them to rape and enslave and kill even the little children and the cattle of the other tribes.
One would think that, for someone with gods powers, it would have been an easy task to just eradicate the enemy tribe himself.

A few days ago someone explained this one. IIRC it went that way: ancient Hebrews used to erase the names of the gods of conquered nations, but of course they didn't want their god's name to be desacrated in the same way, hence a prohibition against "destroying Gawd's name" in the OT. And since fundies just love to complicate things needlessly, some of them decided to use removing the vowel as a way to make sure they didn't accidentally destroy a paper with his name written on it.

As for Jews writing Yahweh "YHWH", it was due to a different reason, namely the absence of vowels in written Biblical Hebrew (at least originally, they later added them).

The civilised world is based on Beer:

Beer was so valued in ancient times, as with Tea, it was used as currency in Sumeria.

The workers (agricultural labourers out of work during the Nile floods) who built the pyramids & temples for the pharaohs in ancient Egypt, were paid in shelter, food - and beer.

Lager was invented in the Czech Republic centuries ago. The brewing processes spread to Germany, where the specific methods of making such & the ingredients used were regulated via ultra-draconian laws. Which exist, and are just as strictly enforced to this day. According to polls & surveys conducted by the EU, the Czech Republic today is the least religious country in Europe.
