It would be nice if atheists weren't always out there trying to disprove God. How can it strictly be a personal affair when these militant atheists try to interfere and indoctrinate the entire world?

Yeah, damn pesky atheists, always knocking on my door every Sunday morning, trying to hand me blank pamphlets.
@JES:
LOL! Okay, I absolutely want a blank pamphlet for atheism now!
A tri-fold one with "What every atheist needs to know about God!" on the cover. And nothing on the inside.
Other titles to include:
"Guide to biblical truth."
"Evidence for God."
"Confirmed miracles."
and
"What prayer can do for you!"
Doesn't pooving god exist defeat the purpose of religion - FAITH!
The problem is, christians want everybody to believe it, You can not force anybody to believe anything. you canmake people go through the motions, the rituals, even say the words - that still does not mean they believe! But I guess this would be enough for you guys, wouldn't it?
Indoctrinate the entire world? Hardly.
Keeping theistic matters out of government? Absolutely.
Interfering? You've lost me. Who's interfering with what?

Jez, that might the best thing I have ever read on this site.

Some people seem to think it's enough for God too. But then, it's not like he's a mind-reader or anything.
Uh, we're not trying to "disprove God." There's no god there to disprove even though y'all insist there is. What we want to see is your evidence. Barring that, there's no need to believe that your god exists.
We're not trying to disprove God, your ilk and your Bible do that for us. BTW, if you would just prove the existence of your God the subject would be closed and all of us atheists would become instant Christians.
Trying to interfere with what, your indoctrination of the entire world?
"It would be nice if atheists weren't always out there trying to disprove God."
Atheists by definition have nothing to disprove, we don't try to disprove God any more than we try to disprove the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny.
Damn those militant atheists with their mass indoctrination/reinforcement meetings every Sunday, and all those people knocking on doors, and self-appointed leaders regurgitating the same old song and dance on 20 cable channels 24-7! Oh wait....
Classic delusional projection.
I'll be honest, I am a militant atheist and while I would like very much for the whole world to wake up and smell the coffee the word "indoctrinate" is something that you have to do to people when you do not have evidence and reason to back up your position. Religions indoctrinate people, secularists educate and inform.
Also, I think I can speak for most atheists, if you fucking idiots would keep your stupid faith to yourself and stop trying to legislate your beliefs into law I would care less what you believed in. However, when the man with his finger on the button thinks he is talking directly with Jesus Christ I have BIG TIME problems with that.

I want blank pamplets! I want one that says, "What God told us to do!"
we're not indoctrinating, that's religions game.
oddly, still, we're winning. While Islams gaining members (through births mainly) Fundie America (Batshit insane uneducated control freaks) are losing members.
Atheism is growing. This is the Fundies last stand and their leaders know it
You know, maybe I have been too militant. Tell you what, send your god around to my place (I'm sure he/she/it knows where I live). When god gets to my door and establishes his/her/its identity I will offer my humblest apologies and ask what I can do to make amends, sound good?
I'll just wait.
I'm sorry, who are the ones always trying to shoehorn god into everything, including mathematics? And like to hand out those wastes of paper known as "religious tracts"? Who are the ones who cover their lust for blood with the "It's God's idea" BUS?
personal
Can't exactly be personal when you're forcing your BS on others .
It'd be like a US president, whilst already married, forcing himself on other women. Oh, wait...! [/Stormy Daniels]
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
