Yeah.... this is why our family wouldn't even THINK of visiting DisneyLand, DisneyWorld, etc... the older boys don't want to see that stuff (they don't even like seeing boys and girls kiss, much less boys and boys...), and we don't want our little guy exposed to it either. Pastor and youth pastor, I'd have thought, would do some research since Disney "Gay Pride Days" are pretty widely known to happen there, etc... so that their vacation plans didn't have to coincide.

Really? I wont go ther because I have an overwhelming fear of 2 meter tall mice giggling and chasing after little kids... seems rather perverse to me.
That and I am not amused by many theme parks - Im too jaded.
Disney World does have Gay Pride Week. Good on them for that. Because despite what some morons think, gay people have children and families, too.
I just love it that fundies think that rainbow flags and two people of the same sex holding hands or kissing should never be seen by children. 9__9
Well, it isn't the happiest place on earth for nothing. Thanks for staying away; fundie free environments for children are good places to be.
I would like to know when Disney's Gay Pride Days are, though. Cold you inform me? I like to avoid overly large crowds when going to such places and I would imagine Gay Pride Days are just jam packed and elbow to elbow.

But the Mickey and Goofy floor show is the highlight of the week!
So your older boys don't like seeing boys and girls kiss? Hmm... sounds like they may be in the closet.
And do you really think it was a coincidence that your pastor and youth pastor ended up down there during gay pride days?
I know where I'm going for vacation!
On that note, don't a lot of the Big Amusement Parks have Gay Pride Days?
Wow, your children are going to grow up with a fucked-up view of sex if your folks can't even look at people kissing . You do realise that beaten-in messages about how sex and anything to do with it is dirty and bad is not going to magically disappear as soon as the ring and vows are exchanged, right? Right?
Mister Spak FTW!
@WMDKitty: w00t! :D
Both Disney parks do have Gay Days. (Disney World is June 3 - 9 this year) These are not official per Disney, but certainly welcomed and the red carpet does seem to get rolled out. Generally, gay families just all wear one color (red, I think?) in the parks on the days that they're there. As I understand it, an effort is made to keep any party circuit type behavior out of the parks and rather at clubs and such.
As of this year, what Disney has done which is official is open their Disney Weddings to same-sex couples to allow for a non-legal commitment ceremony. Yay!
And these poor deluded people. Do they not think that they are likely to see gay couples at the parks /any/ day of the year?
,,zombie panda,Worship sweet Jesus or his is going to fucking MURDER your babies!,,Post!,
Kids usually don't like seeing older kids or adults kiss, regardless of gender. And, is this some kind of new feature? "Come and see boys kiss boys!" Boored now...
Side note: Abbas is the most common family name in lots of Muslim countries.
Confused?
