Oh come on. Surely you must know Fox News will tell you exactly when it's going to happen.
Maybe because there are five weekdays and only two weekend days so it's statistically (about 72 %) more probable that something anything will happen on a weekday.
Not to mention confirmation bias if you get into your head that events happen on weekdays, you'll notice more those events that fit your prejudice and disregard those that don't.

There are 5 week days. There are only 2 weekend days. You figure it out.
I'm sure if I gave even one iota of crap about this, I could find lots of recent major news events that occurred on weekends.

per week, there are 5 work days and 2 days in the weekend. Short version, if you pick a random day, it's 2.5 times more likely to be a work day than it is to be in the weekend.

Ah. But knowing that you know that no-one would expect it to happen on a weekend, therefore it has to be a weekend, it's going to be during the week afterall. God is, after all, omniscient. Then again, since he knows that you know that he knows that you know, he has to do it on a weekend anyway just to keep it a surprise.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
