Australia was founded by convicts and criminals who came from British islands. It was one of the reasons to, relatively easily, promote such practice in this country where majority of population still consists of compassionless Anglo-Saxons with criminal genes who do not hesitate to kill others.

The murder rate in the US per capita is three times that, and with 15 times the population that's nearly 50 times as many murders.
Gee and the UK's at 14 murders per million people as opposed to Australia's 15. I guess they didn't get them all.
The problem with the 'compassionless gene' is the enitre human race seems to have it - guess we haven't evolved that far after all
Time for a history lesson, methinks. Many of the "criminals" transported to Australia had been convicted of petty crimes (the classic example being the theft of a loaf of bread to feed one's hungry family). Furthermore, from early in the nation's history, convicts were vastly outnumbered by free settlers, so it is unlikely that you'd be able to identify this "criminal gene" you speak of in the contemporary Australian populace.
Criminal genes?!? The "inheritance" theory of criminal conduct has been disproved for about a hundred years! Pretty odd to see it being espoused in the 21st century on the World Wide Web.

Transportation of convicts to Australia ceased about 1860. By that time the numbers of free settlers reaching these shores had exceeded the number of convicts transported. A large number of free settler arrived in the gold rushes of 1851 and later. Most of the convicts transported were petty criminals, in several cases the crimes amounted to shoplifting, in others the crime was being an Irish or Scots nationalist. The truly dangerous criminals -murderers, rapists and arsonists were executed in Britain before reaching these shores. Get your facts right before spouting stuff you actually don't know much about.
