I just came home from church where we attend, and everyone that I met walking in the hall, and everyone serving in AWANA's, was 'dead tired' or exhausted, or 'I didn't have time to take a nap today'.
I think I'm sensing His soon return...His bride is pining to return home for the wedding.
What do you all think? I know for one, I want to go home, and I often find myself looking up begging for Him to rapture us!

Pathetic escapism. Show a little backbone and deal with the world, damnit! The rest of us have to, and if you lot stopped wasting time hiding from the world's problems and hoping you'll be magically taken away from them, you could help us fix them instead.
I find myself hoping you'll go home too. Your obsession with the Rapture TM just confirms to me that you're one of the Doomsday cultists. You can color the event in as many pretty sounding metaphors as you like. At the end of the day it's, well, just the end of the day.
I am currently sleep deprived because I am battling depression. It's not a matter of missing one lousy nap, it's a mtter of having my eyes snap open at 2 a.m. night...after night...after night. I can't think, I can't read, I can't study. The life path I set for myself years ago is no longer fulfilling, I lack a support system where I am, and my dad just died. I'm miserable, but I still want to live. People like Hisgirljo make me want to consider homicide.
I agree, this is mental illness.
The ex had a similar delusion that she'd receive a shitload of money "soon", "from someone"....
I spent the next decade paying off the debts. My bad, really. I should have sought intervention.
I know "psychotic" is a broad brush, but it's a starting point.
Here's a suggestion: If you're so tired, sleep in next Sunday. You won't miss anything except the repetition of the same boring crap you nutters hear every week and, if the rupture happens, I'm sure someone will tell you about it.
This makes about as much sense as 2 + green = fish.
People have been tired, therefore JEEBUS IS COMIN' FOR US! WTF?
Several people have mentioned mental illness. What are we thinking of specifically, in that case? Is just plain "delusional" an actual mental illness?
PhantasyElementz , a delusion by itself could happen to anyone, based upon bad info, but the healthy person can correct their perceptual stance or understanding.
Otherwise, the warning signs are:
A) The person strengthens their delusion, even in the face of reality;
B) The person bases their future on their delusion.

Well, he is suppposedly decended from David and Solomon. Guess polygamy just runs in the family.

I guess being the son of God, that means he get all da hoes.
Now that I think about it, it likely started with that Magdalene girl...
I can see the headlines already JONESTO, I mean...
RAPTURE READY MASS SUICIDE! CYANIDE IN THE KOOLAI... JESUS JUICE!
... I often find myself looking up begging for Him to rapture us!
Do Australians look down? Or do you look up at noon and down at midnight? Noon clock time or sidereal time? Or maybe it's up when it's noon in Jerusalem. Or maybe heaven moves around and is always "up" over the USA.
Yes, I often wish that you would all go away too, but then I realise, what would keep me entertained at work if I couldn't laugh at your pathetic fundyisms?
@[b]Axx: "Jesus Juice"? Man, that just sounds wrong.
@[b]John: I've never met a fundy in Australia. I'm not saying we don't have them, but I've never had one preach to me about the rupture.
Hey asswipe... did you stop to think that maybe people are tired because they are working 50-60 hours a week, running kids all over the place, working 2 jobs, and having to "serve" their Lord and master Jesus by attending multiple religious services every week?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
