[Yeah, the whole non-emphasis on freedom isn't what I want. Sorry.]
Freedom? There is an intrinsic difference between Freedom and Liscence. Do you really want freedom? Or do you want liscence?
I define Freedom as the ability to tend towards what is best. Insofar as I am concerned, Fascism and Catholicism lead towards what is best.
Liscence is the ability to do what one wants, regardless of whether or not it is best.

*Stop trying to redefine the English language, you never majored in it and I'd doubt your grasp is within even mine.
It's standard practice for fundamentalists to re-define words to suit their own needs.
Heck, yesterday, I was reading a book in which the author even admitted that he was re-defining "sect" for the purpose of the text.
And who/what decides what is best, brainiac? Your book that advocates rape incest, slavery, bashing babies' heads against rocks and similar niceties?

Again with the stupidity of fascists. I would like to brain Apologist with a 2X4, because I think it's best for humanity. Under his rules, I'm well within my rights. Dumbass.
Agent 00Fundie: Liscence to Spell?
You keep using that word ("freedom"). I don't think that word means what you think it means. In fact, I know it doesn't. So please use the language as it is, and just admit that what you really want is to curtail freedom rather than increase it. Just because you want to pretend the word means something else doesn't mean others will automatically follow you there.

"Freedom? There is an intrinsic difference between Freedom and Liscence."
There certainly is, freedom is an actual English word while "liscence" is not.
"I define Freedom as the ability to tend towards what is best."
Freedom has nothing to do with what is best or worst.
"Insofar as I am concerned, Fascism and Catholicism lead towards what is best."
In so far as I'm concerned, you are an idiot. Do you even know what Fascism is, or have you redefined that too?
"Liscence is the ability to do what one wants, regardless of whether or not it is best."
Learn to spell!
License and freedom both allow choice, but neither makes a claim as to one's abilities nor as to what is best.
"I define Freedom as the ability to tend towards what is best."
What an odd definition you have there. I think you should familiarize yourself with a dictionary before you go saying something else equally as asinine.
"Insofar as I am concerned, Fascism and Catholicism lead towards what is best.
Yes because they both did so well when they held power, right? Maybe you need a history book more than you need a dictionary.
So, what you're saying is that freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength, and war is peace? Is that right?
'There is an intrinsic difference between Freedom and Liscence.'
I'm going to have to agree with you there; freedom is actually a word.
'Insofar as I am concerned, Fascism and Catholicism lead towards what is best.'
Riiiiight... Now what exactly is best? Constant oppression and self-punishment?
'Do you really want freedom? Or do you want liscence?'
Whichever lets me use the clue-by-four.
OK guys, lay off apologist in this instance. Sure his other more violent posts are unforgivable, BUT, and it's a big BUT!

BUT, that's exactly the context in which the current 'Administration' uses "Freedom".
Operation Iraqi I define Freedom - Fascism and Catholicism lead towards what is best.
To be honest, the part where he redefines freedom isn't just a wacky fundy thing. It's pretty much a staple of Catholicism: freedom can only be defined as the freedom to do good, or else God wouldn't be free, because he can't do evil.
Stupid, I know.
Confused?
