Oh, fuck you. Whenever somebody online brings up gender dysphoria, someone will make a comment like WELL I'M A DOG/NAPOLEON TRAPPED IN MY BODY CAN I GET AN OPERATION. It's not the same thing at all. People with gender dysphoria physically have the brain of the opposite gender.

I must say that I am pretty dismayed to see presumably Distind make their own abusive response mirrored by others in the comments - but at least a couple of people responded with the compassion which I would hope ought to characterise enlightened non-fundies. Almost fundie-like yourself, you miss the point that the guy was *joking* when he referred to overweight sensitivity training, not seriously suggesting it. From the responses though some of you could do with it. Yes, overweight isnt an immutable characteristic like color or sexual orientation or identity. However, passing over the known medical conditions that can cause overeating, many overweight people have suffered severe abuse in childhood and suffer chronic anxiety and depression. It is now known that such abuse may cause detectable neurochemical abnormalities - in at least some cases, perhaps obesity is not so non-immutable afterall. You mockers may be being as ignorant as the homophobes and transphobes. Aren't we supposed to be the good guys?
Wow, there are some fucking obnoxious, arrogant, ignorant skinny people on this board. I eat less and exercise more than the rather large majority of my arrogantly skinny acquaintances, and my ass is still fat -- not everyone's body operates the same way. It's like the junior lite version of how not everyone's gender works the same way.
