The left would love to replace one of the conservative justices to allow Obama to appoint another far left justice. So that Obama would have a free hand to finish his destruction of America.
The left wants to change the Constitution to make it more left loon friendly.

The left hasn't mentioned an additional constitutional amendment. Certain individuals and groups on the right, however, have. And Obama hasn't done any damage to the nation. Bush seriously did. Kindly stop the paroxysms.

Yea, I guess, but unfortunately the left has no chance of ever getting to do this since the country is, and always has been completely dominated by two right wing parties. The best that can be hoped for is that the more moderate, and these days, more sane of the two will be who gets to appoint any justices, or judges.
I'm sorry, did you say that Obama wants to replace a Supreme Court justice, so he can change the Constitution?
'Cause that's not how amending the Constitution works, nimrod.
Neither the President nor the SC has any hand in it.

And by 'destruction of America' you mean 'prevent it from becoming a Christian version of 1984s Oceania', WL?
The right wants to use the constitution for toilet paper.

"Sounds like a good idea, now that Scalia has slipped into senility."
Scalia has always been saying wierd things, so I don't think his problem is senility.

Finish?!? He's had seven years ! When is he going to start ?

Oddly enough, all the proposed amendments I've heard in the media all come from the right-wingers. Things like banning abortion, limits to free speech, marriage inequality, etc. are all coming from the right.

Roe vs. Wade. Kitzmiller vs. Dover. 26th June SCOTUS decision. The former in 1973.
It already is , dimbulb. Now crawl out from under your stone already, and taste the Reality .
Hey, get used to the fact that the court might not swing your way in a couple of years. Not only will Hillary win in 2016 but there's a fair chance that the Democrats may retake the Senate. Couple that with the fact that maybe two conservative judges will retire, and well, you see where this is going...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't one of the Founding Fathers say that the Constitution was meant to be revised on a regular basis? I mean, other than Amendments we haven't done much. But still, you're pretty much wrong regardless.
@Scolipendra
I actually shared those quotes from Jefferson in a recent discussion I had with an ammosexual acquaintance of mine.
"But duh founders done wanted me to have muh gun. It's in the duh Declaration of Indeepehndunce!"
Yeah, a guy who doesn't even know it's in the Constitution really needs guns. Totally.
Confused?
