Galion is in my backyard. I posted this article because the gay agenda is now so saturated into our culture that it is hitting small towns. Galion is so small you can blink and miss it as you drive through. The constant pushing of their lifestyle has brought me more against them then before. Before they began pushing the acceptance of their lifestyle, I had no problem with gays because they minded their own business. But now... being plastered all over the news and through society is making me hate their cause. (The sin not the person) The things people are saying about this small town around here, because they can't change the rules in the blink of an eye, makes me wants me to slap them so hard they go back in time to witness the crucifixion. Eh.... I'm just so annoyed by this. Someone pray for the north east... the US as a whole actually would be better.

And your message isn't "plastered all over the place"? We have free speech, so you can't prevent someone else from speaking. You can ask them to stop, of course, but therein lies the other problem. Fairness would be allowing homosexuals to display homosexual symbols because Christians display fish and crosses, and allowing the homosexual family* access to the pool because straight families have access.
*No, I'm not implying that the entire family is homosexual just because the parents are. Y'all know what I meant.
If you really just hated the sin and not the sinners, you would be treating that family with love by welcoming them, instead of being "annoyed" that they just want to take their kids to the pool like everybody else.

I thought I should mention that I looked at the article that the fundie posted on RR, & it appears that one of the people on the town board is a conservative Christian, and it turns out he's OK with the family getting the pass.

To fundie Christians and other homophobes, gay people being out in public and not staying at home in the closet is pushing their lifestyle on everyone. The people who run the pool admitted that they made a mistake and need to revisit the definition of "family". And again, gays don't have to censor themselves because them being out and proud makes you uncomfortable. And the LGB community and their allies will continue to fight until they achieve the same rights and privileges that straights enjoy. Get over it.
On behalf of the entire Northeast, I'd like to politely tell you to go fuck yourself. The rest of the country would not survive without us, especially the red states.
