I think satan knows his time is short, and boy is he unleashing the evil. Satan, his angels and demons, I believe they are everywhere covering the face of this planet. I don't know how else to explain people and their behaviors. If one doesn't have Jesus, it leaves them susceptible to the spiritual evil that is so prevalent in this world right now. It's like I FEEL it, in my bones I feel it, can sense the tension in the air, and there is no way to get away from it. The only way out is Jesus. I don't know what people do who don't have Him, how hopeless they must feel.

Hi tiffanybw, Satan here. We're awful tired of being pissed on by you Christians. Just because we're evil, that doesn't mean we don't have feelings. Your breath and armpits can be pretty evil too, you know. Being a Bronze-age super villain isn't all bad. You say your God is all powerful? Can he tap dance without putting on the shoes? Without your death cult's indoctrination into a constant sense of guilt over literally nothing and fear of every shadow, sound and coincidence we get on just fine. Lacking a false and frankly foolish hope is not the same thing as being hopeless. Lacking the hope that I'll win the lottery 47 times in a row doesn't mean that my life is miserable. It merely means that my hopes are at least somewhat grounded in reality.

Regarding the last statement, I can answer that. As an atheist, I haven't been conditioned to see doom and hellfire around every corner. I don't fear the passage of time, and I haven't been trained to flagellate myself because of something an alleged ancestor did. Because of this, your "out" in the form of Jesus means nothing to me, and could mean nothing to me.
And that ignores the copious amounts of Fridge Horror within your own Heaven narrative. If you're going to represent every view that isn't your own in the most grimdark way possible, you invite others to do so to you.

This number does not include people who died 'before their time' of natural causes such as disease (which follows on the heels of war) or famines not deliberate (which often occur during war for a variety of reasons).

Hey Tiff, did it ever occur to you that Satan is tired of waiting on your god to actually do what he said he was going to do. This whole "time is short" thing has been going on for...what...2,000 years now. Hell, Satan is probably going "Anytime now Jesus." himself, but not for the same reasons.
