That whole thread is golden. One guy said his daughter "tried to attend" college in SF and had to transfer due to the "overt pressures on her to accept a more open, permissive sexuality." What the hell was she doing hanging around that part of town?

As a nation (UK) we never really had God in our schools. Certainly not in our political system. Nor any part of our society (outside of church jumble sales, fetes, etc). We're still here.

Because nothing pisses off God more than efficiently reusing glass, paper and aluminum, instead of chucking it all into a landfill to rot. Unless it's teh gheys screwing, amirite?
When you say "took god out of schools" you mean "took out mandatory enforcement of your specific brand of religious beliefs on everyone, whether they wanted it or not, and regardless of their race, creed, cultural heritage, or beliefs" right?
Because somehow you know your specific version of the magic sky pixie is the only correct one, right? Anyone that doesn't share your specific brand of insanity, oops, no, I mean religion, will burn forever in hell for their sins right?
Oh, and last I checked, there weren't any signs in schools saying "Prayer is illegal" and "It is against the law to pray on these premises". Students are free to pray to any magic sky-pixie they want, read any ancient books of mythology, and discuss their beliefs during free time with like-minded others. They're even free to silently pray before, during, and after tests and other class activities, as long as doing so doesn't interrupt class or others. So exactly how has god been "taken out of schools" again?
It wasn't the nation that did that, it was the Founding Fathers. Blame them, if you want to blame anyone.
As a nation, Sweden recycle about 98 percent of our garbage. Only a small amount, stuff like ceramics in old toilets and tiles, is left and put in landfills. Everything that can be made into something new, like paper, cardboard, plastic, is collected at recycling stations, and most of the rest is burned to give heating for houses and companies. We even import garbage from our neighbors as we need more than we produce ourselves.
As a nation, we're mostly non-religious, and no god has ever told the people he supposedly created, to care for the world he supposedly created for them, right?
