It could be that hell is freezing over, and expanding in the proces. Sure, things generally shrink when they cool, but hey, who's paying atention to physics anyway?

Ahahahahaha! If Hell is supposed to be a literal place in the center of the Earth (i.e. the core), you going to be waiting a damn long time for it to reach the surface! I think you should just settle for volcanic eruptions. Close enough, right?

Well, heck, if you think about what would happen if the core of the earth was expanding it would be hell on Earth. However, there's a little problem where all life would be wiped out long before it reached the crust of the Earth.
I prefer the official explanation, since, by now, the Hell should have enlarged so much that we should be dancing with Satan.
Once, I saw a Weekly World News headline about a deep shaft being drilled into the Earth. The drillers claimed they could hear the screams of the damned in Hell coming from the shaft.

Hell is not in the center of the Earth. That's where the sprites, fairies, leprechauns, pixies, gobblins ("That's hob-gobblin!"), trolls, nymphs, Katie Couric, and unicorns all live.

Guess we have either already passed the end a billion years ago or so, or we are nearing the end, millennium for millennium, and it might now only be a few hundred thousand years away.
