Liberal Pledge of Allegiance
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the united nations, and to the socialist doctrine for which it stands, one mindset, under secular humanism, inflexible, with forced equality of outcome, and moral relativism for all.

Blah, blah, blah, ad homneim, etc, etc.
I pledge allegence to the bible (king James version only), and to the mythology for which it stands, one mindset, under Dumbya, inflexible, with enforced ignorance and institutionalised stupidity for all.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of my country, and to the republic for which it stands: one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
I roll _old-school_.

This thing keeps saying my reply to this is hitting a spam filter. I wanted to say that the author of the original pledge was himself a social_ist! His name was Francis Bellamy, and his next best-known work was a description of America as a social_ist utopia/workers' paradise in the year 2000. It was entitled "Looking Backward," and was published just one year before he wrote the pledge.
Thus, no "liberal" pledge is necessary, since the original pledge was written by someone far more politically left-wing than the vast majority of liberals in America today.
Dear Little Reagan, if you had paused for a minute to think of the meaning of the words you were mindlessly parrotting, you would have realised that "one mindset" and "forced equality of outcome" are hardly compatible with "moral relativism".
But of course that would have been asking too much.

Speak of the devil; I just had to read that for a class.
Good book, though it really could've used at least a semblance of a plot.
LIBERTARIAN pledge of allegiance
I pledge allegience to the individual and to freedom and liberty for which is required, mulitple mindsets, under any God or no God of your choice, one nation with a microscopic government that allows unrestricted speech, expression, press, association, low taxes, weapon ownership, fair courts, fun trips on mind-bending pharmacuticals, any kind of marriage you like AND IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
Eh, the U.N. seems pretty pointless to me, considering they focus more on the "N" than the "U."
Aside from that, the U.N. flag is pretty cool. One day, when we are united, that would be a sweet flag to use (yes, I say "when" because it's either that or we get ourselves a heaping plate of extinction).
Whereas the fundie version is "I pledge allegiance to the Bible, and the intolerant doctrine for which it stands, one mindset under Jaysus, inflexible, with bigotry and ignorance for all"
"I pledge allegiance to the flag people of the united nations Earth, and to the socialist doctrine unity for which it stands, one mindset many ideas, under secular humanism</s>common decency, inflexible ever flexible, with forced equality of outcome, and moral relativism liberty and justice for all."
FTFY. HTH. HAND.
Christian Fundie Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the tyrannical Old Testament god, and to the theocracy for which it stands, one religion, under fear and guilt, intolerant, with liberty and justice for whom we deem righteous.
"I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands. One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe."
- No, I did not make that up. That is one variation of the 'pledge to the Christian flag.' They have been around for decades and are often said in Christian schools along with the pledge to the American flag.
Now comes the question: how can conservative Christians sincerely pledge allegiance to TWO flags? Jesus himself said that one cannot serve two masters. Yes, I know that True Christians (tm) aren't terribly concerned with anything Jesus might have had to say, but it is kind of a sticky point to gloss over. So the Christian fanatic is left in an undeniable bind as to where their true loyalties lie.
I notice that your "liberal pledge" doesn't have to contend with that rather serious problem.
Confused?
