1) Show me the place in the Quran that says that the earth is fixed
2) Provide me with a single source that says ants cannot speak

I anticipate that such antiquated anti-intellectual thoughts will find their antidote in the antonyms of such idiocy: namely, the anterior and antecedents of rational thought.
Well, I thought that it was funny.
"And we set mountains on the earth lest it should move with them, and we made on it broad passages between them as routes for their guidance..." (Sura 21:32).
"And He it is who hath created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each moving swiftly in its sphere." (Sura 21:34).
The earth is fixed, the sun and moon move.
"Provide me with a single source that says ants cannot speak".
I don't have to prove a negative: that's not the way science works. You have to produce the talking ant.
ssdexecutor,
No, the Quran has talking ants;
27:18 Till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving.
THE KORAN Chapter, 'The Ant' 27:61
Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas ? Is there any God beside Allah ? Nay, but most of them know not!
'The Cave' 18:86 Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness.
18:87 He said: As for him who doeth wrong, we shall punish him, and then he will be brought back unto his Lord, Who will punish him with awful punishment!
18:88 But as for him who believeth and doeth right, good will be his reward, and We shall speak unto him a mild command.
18:89 Then he followed a road
18:90 Till, when he reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had appointed no shelter therefrom.
And Solomon has a conversation with the ants, and he also expects a good excuse from the Hoopoe bird for being late to a meeting (?) or else he's going to punish it.
Yeah.
The 21th sura(I knew it through Al-Jazeera and all the mad clerics who preach there)and my experience. Do you speak with ants?, I would like to have a conversation with some who are invading my kitchen.
And anyway, you're the muslim, not us. Do some research, for it is you who want to to make the point about your religion.
2) We had so many ants in our countryhouse they had built a whole ant-hill over winter. There must have been thousands of them, but scream as I might, they totally ignored me.
I think that proves they can't speak, or they were just rude.
Provide me with a single source that says snakes, donkeys, burning bushes, pecan pies, blue paint and/or my cup of coffee cannot speak.
(1) "Have you not regarded how God created seven heavens one upon another, and set the moon therein for a light and the sun for a lamp?" - While the Quran may not use the word "fixed", it's clear from the passage that the Quran accepted Aristotle's "crystalline spheres" theory, which postulated seven concentric spheres surrounding a fixed earth. The seven spheres held the seven known planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn).
(2) Actually, ants make tapping, clicking and squeaking sounds that are thought to be used for communication with each other. Some of the squeaks are audible to humans if you pick the ant up - I've heard them myself.
Confused?
