How dare you say that you murderer! There is life in every sperm and egg cell. Every time a man jacks off or has a wet dream, IT'S MURDER! Every time a woman has her period, IT'S MURDER! How dare you have such a soft liberal view of life. YOU will burn in HELL!
I don't care if life begins at conception. I'm willing to give it to them all the time they want. Want to call it murder? Fine.
It's my body. As a human being I have absolute control over it. Let's say there's another life developping in there and I don't want it to... If the fetus is a living individual, let me throw it out of my womb and let's see how it fares in life.
If it dies, then it was nothing but a parasite.
And the guns/s in your cupboard are for the preservation of life?
And the sperm that you spilled everytime you wanked?
And just in case you argue you never wanked, my dear late brother used to say, there are two kinds of men, wankers and liars.
Have a nice evening.
Life begins at conception. (Well, it depends on alive cells to begin with, but that's besides the argument.) No one is denying that after conception, what you have is a very much alive zygote cell .
Calling it a viable fetus is a tad bit early at that point.
"Oh, no, not evidence! Not something that can shatter my safe illusion of being right all the time! I can't let this happen!"
What about those of us who think life does begin at conception and support abortion rights anyway? Sure, it's a living creature; so's a tick, but I'd squish that too if it started feeding on me without my wanting it to.
Requiring evidence to support a position can make one an advocate of murder?
P. S. Anyone who spells badly is an assoholic, space alien, plain and simple.
"Anybody who needs evidence to show that life beigins at conception is pro-murder, plain and simple."
By all but the most strict definitions sperm and eggs are "alive" also. So, I guess if you're not using every last one of your little swimmers to impregnate a woman you're also "pro-murder". So is every woman who isn't perpetually pregnant.
The fungus that grows on a tree is "life", but it isn't a person, and neither is an unviable clump of cells and tissue in a uterus.
Call it anything you want, until it's viable and able to live on its own, rather than feeding on me to grow and survive, it's a parasite, and I have a right to say I want it out of my body. And it's nobody else's damn business.
We will NOT allow you to hold us down and force us to incubate something until it becomes a human being ever, ever again.

... assoholic?
Um, I agree with @Old Viking :-D
also, @#1001406, you forgot the COMMIES!
If human life ends with the permanent cessation of conscious brain activity, then it logically begins when conscious brain activity commences. A blastocyst is not conscious by any stretch of the imagination.
...oh crap, it looks like I'm "pro-murder" according to some random, intellectually challenged wingnut on the Internet, brb sobbing and cutting myself.
Speaking as someone who is pro-choice, pro-euthanasia, and pro-death penalty, I guess you could say that I'll kill anything, but I still don't support murder.

No. No, they're not. Plain and simple.
Wow, Wolf! I just used your own dimwitted parody of logic to demolish your loony assertion!
You're not very bright, are you?
It's posted on FreakConservatard so you know it's beyond stupid.
You do realize that your definition makes your god the biggest murderer then, right? I mean, who's responsible for all those first trimester miscarriages?
Furthermore, if we consider brain activity to be a condition for calling someone alive, you were born dead.
@ Doubting Thomas
What about Christians who are against abortion but don't believe that life begins at conception?
Oh, ye of little faith, D.T.
They aren't real christians.
Everybody except the Wolf there, is hellbound for the Lake o' Fire.
@ A Friend:
Ah, welcome back dipshit!
Hey guys, break out the beer, let's celebrate the moron trolling again after so long!
hey Old Viking, room for one more? I can bring the mead!
Err... life is continuous, fucksack. You think that's two dead gametes joining together to create life?
Christ. Please don't ever use antibiotics again because that keelz da germ bebbies!
Oh, and fuck you.
No, I totally agree that the egg and sperm do not have the same 46-chromosome genome as the zygote, and that the fetus's genetic material differs from its mother's. That is proven scientific fact.
However, cancer cells also have a different genome than their host. A 46-chromosome, human genome. And I doubt you want to defend the right of cancer to continue its parasitic growth within the human body. Therefore, your argument won't work.
So, just needing the evidence is saying murder is great?
Removing a lump of cells with no brain and no heart is murder, but sending boys and girls to a war in Iraq is not? I don't get it.
If you are really pro-life, you ought to abhor every kind of violence and certainly all kinds of war and torture.
In that case, people in the middle ages were pro murder. They neither knew when conception began and thought, also, that they thought that there should be evidence that it started in the second month of gestation.

Well of course, you said it was so, therefore it must be true, Right? It couldn't possibly be something as simple as a person lacks that knowledge and would like to know for certain? Nah, couldn't be that, it has to be that anyone who doesn't just accept what you tell them to accept must therefore be ideologically opposed to you just because you say so . After all, you are the self-appointed decider of everyone else's opinion, You seem to think that you, and you alone have the right to tell other people what their opinions are about a subject. It's the attitude I've come to expect from people who think that their choice of religion somehow makes them and their opinions superior to those they see as "lesser" people.
And supporting unjustified war is not?
Besides, what's so wrong about proving that life begins at conception? To me, it's not that difficult to prove... (Full disclosure: I do believe that life begins at conception. However, I do not support such fundamentalist thought.)
Uh, life doesn't actually stop between the egg and sperm combining (although I suppose the sperm is basically 'eaten' by the egg) and the resulting organism dieing.
As for being called 'pro-murder', fuck you.
[musical notes] Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is grand...[/musical notes]
Whoops, Doubting Thomas already said this.
Let's see what Jesus said about abortion:
Fucking nuthin'. Source: the Holy Bible.
And that's why, kids, you should regulary update your ethics code, instead of picking parts of a story written thousands of years ago.
Confused?
