Leftist methods of drug treatment (rehab etc.) have all failed.

Years ago (back when he was writing as Ferdinand Bardamu) Forney was pretty dismissive of the War on Drugs, stating that drug problems are rooted in other issues.
He was never good, mind, but Forney progressively subsumed himself into the Return of Borgs.

Look at icelands drug education methods. I read an article on it a while back and they achieved massive results by training their kids to deal with stress through activity, not escape using drugs.
Also i think it was portugal who started treating it like a health problem requiring treatment not punishment, they also saw massive improvments.
Can this sheriff be arrested for negligent homicide?

We should resume the war on drugs because we were winning.
So let me get this straight: despite all of the success stories, despite the medical evidence that there are ways to wean people off their addictions, you support simply letting people die because you think "those people" are worthless?
Fuck you sideways, asshole! They're still people, and deserve help on that basis. And if cleaned up, they can be productive citizens (more productive in the case of functioning addicts).

Rehab isn't leftist. It's centrist. Leftist is just letting the people have their drugs.
If rehab seems like a leftist thing, then you might be a nut.

Well, that's just wrong, as thousand of recovered addicts can testify, Matt Forneys just wrong but that's certainly not unusual.
