Tell it like it is; put the blame where it belongs: on the Democrat Political Party. There is nothing democratic about any Democrat leader. The Democrat Political Party has morphed into an instrument of poverty, oppression, and death. The Democrat enclaves of Detroit Michigan and Chicago Illinois are death camps; California & New York state are fiscal wrecks. Wherever the Democrat is in power there is poverty, oppression and death. It is time for reform. The only people who thrive in the Democrat Political Party are unionized bureaucrats who devise crooked rules and regulations that milk taxes. The taxes are used to hire more bureaucrats who write & enforce more rules to enslave those of us who are NOT bureaucrats. What Democrats practice now are the same practices Vladimir Lenin & Josef Stalin used against the Russian people. Lenin & Stalin lied and promised Russians a more prosperous life. What did the Russians get instead? Poverty, oppression and death. Repudiate the Democrat Political Party & defeat them overwhelmingly on November 6th 2012. Democrats are enemies of liberty, justice and prosperity for all.

Detroit's a mess, but it's far from any "death camp". i don't, and wouldn't want to, live there, but i know for a fact there are no barbed wire fences surrounding it nor any gas chambers in operation there.

Unlike the Republican Party which offers total freedom and equality for anyone regardless of gender, religion, or sexual preference.
Really, if the Democrats are so bad, why are Republicans having such a hard time winning elections lately?
"Tell it like it is; put the blame where it belongs: on the Democrat Political Party."
Yes because they caused the 2008 crash, invaded a country on fabricated evidence, killed a few tens of thousands of Iraqi fetuses, paid for the trilion dollar war on credit and stuck our children with the bill um wait . . .
The "Democrat Political Party" is a fictional organization, which accounts for the rest of the screed. That Detroit and Chicago are compared to death camps in a supposedly Jewish newspaper is outrageously offensive and the editors, had they any concern for anything but their political agenda, should have pulled this vile comment. John L Jordan should spend a single day ruled by a Lenin or Stalin.
Poverty? - GDP increased every quarter since 2010
Oppression? - Where? Of Whom? How?
Death? - Even the death rate has declined under Obama
It's a good thing all this happend under the watch of the Democrat Political Party, not under the watch of the Democratic Party. That means voting for Obama was safe.
Seriously, how can you even be expected to be taken seriously, if you even fail with the names of a bi-party system? It's two names? How hard is that?
@Azaqi & Mister Spak:
I'm really getting sick and tired of this idea that all that influences the economy are the government and its policies. It doesn't work that way. There are international markets and international relations that have a much greater effect than anything Congress has ever legislated. I Americans just realized this their entire country might be run much more effective.
The Clinton years were big because the Iron Curtain had fallen and people invested themselves stupid in Eastern Europe, policies might have influenced that, but it doesn't matter who would have been in charge the same thing would have happend only with minimal changes. Nor was the boom of the 80s caused by Reagon, but by the simple fact that the economy had been shit for over a decade and at some point things have to stop being shit.

I agree that if one puts aside the vastly differing internal marketing rhetoric, and concentrates primarily at the national economy, national security or the foreign policy, it is indeed often very difficult to set the Dems apart from the Cons. The rest of the post is just mindless political banter.
Since we got rid of our Republican governor, we acquired a budget surplus and have implemented major upgrades on our infrastructure. We may even get a bullet train between Sodom and Gomorrah in a few years.
What the fuck have you got?
"Lenin & Stalin lied and promised Russians a more prosperous life. What did the Russians get instead? Poverty, oppression and death."
I wonder if you know what the Russians had just before Lenin took over? I'll give you a hint... it included Poverty, Oppression... and a lot of death. (and just afterwards they had a lot of nations trying to invade them... even us Brits got in on that act!)
@UHM
I think that even today the United States still has a large enough internal market that what the government does still has very major impact; I'm not sure that this works so well in the rest of the industrialized world. As to the boom in the early 80s and the end of the Cold War, they are not unrelated: after a little difficulty, the oil shocks of 1973-4 and 1979 were absorbed by the West. Eastern Europe, by contrast, ended up giving most of their hard currency earnings to OPEC rather than obtaining foreign credit to spend on the stuff that kept their populations happy during the Seventies. Result: the economy in the West picked up again, but in the East people ended having to put up with power cuts and queuing for potatoes, generating a lot of dissatisfaction. In short, OPEC's sanctions had precisely the reverse effect than the one intended.

And gays! Don't forget the gays!
So California has the highest GDP among all the states in the union. New York is number three on that list.
Also, I live in Chicago and I think I know my city better than you do Johnny, so, no, you're wrong.
@Hasan Prishtina: Government impact in the US can be much greater than in other countries (any Euro country for example) and if coordinated with the media the impact might be hudge, but in the US the opinion makers ("Meinungsmacher") of the media have much more influence than government if government keeps to non-extreme meassures (like nationalizations of entire industries). But what I was ranting against was the idea that government is the only influence and therefor te President could be at fault for a good or a bad economy. Reagan's tax cuts and Clinton's free trade agreements helped shovel coal in the oven, but the train would have moved without them. It's the difference between building the train and riding it.

Perhaps this is because *poor people prefer left-wing economic policy*? (Yes I know the dems ain't left wing but whatever) The Democrats in America are nothing close to Lenin or Stalin...
@NonProphet
You bet your ass.
This is why we have idiots insisting we all let trickle-down have a chance to really truly work, never mind that Reagan tried it and it didn't fucking work.
Bush the Second insisted on this despite that, leading to absolute financial ruin hovering over us for years now and years to come.
Austerity Freaks are just as bad.. It is time to face facts, the up and coming plutocratic wannabes may or may not be religious fanatics, but they are, one and all, fanatics.
Why would a right-wing party like the Democrat party practice the same politics as left-wing communists? The Russians already had poverty, oppression and death, what they got was a more even distribution of the wealth; the really rich people became not so rich and the party leaders became richer, and corrupt. It was the power that did that, not the communism.
Confused?
