That quote was in response to someone saying that having children uses up resources and overpopulates, to me that is a lack of faith issue. I trust God to meet our needs no matter how many kids we have. Why would a Christian worry about the world running out of resources? Muslims don't, and neither do Mormons and Catholics.

Don't ask the federal, state, or local governments to subsidize great hordes of fundie brats. When they're big enough to handle a shovel, we'll see what kind of day-laborer qualities they have.
And don't piss on people who have realistic family goals.
I'm pretty sure Mormons and Catholics are...
...*blink*
I don't know why I bother, really. If believing in Christ doesn't make you Christian, then nothing does. I'm going to go take a nap.
I think that most people in Muslim countries are all too well aware of the problem of running out of resources.
Hence the saying: 'My father rode a camel, I drive a car, my son flies a jet plane.
His son will ride a camel'.
That's right, sweetie. You just keep pumpin' out those babies. The big guy in the sky will make more resources for you.
I give this species maybe another 500 years. The earth will be a great place when we're gone.
You seem not to have noticed that catholics use birth control and muslims live in third world hellholes, and the mormons are complaining about too many people in Utah. But in true fundie style, they are unable to connect that with having 10 children.
Er - I thought you guys weren't fond of the Muslims, Mormons, and Catholics? Or, at least, weren't too concerned when your beliefs and actions didn't match up with theirs, since they aren't True Christians (tm) and are thus hellbound?
Am I missing something here?
"Why would a Christian worry about the world running out of resources?"
This might be a shocker, but unlike yourself, some Christians use their brains.
The flat Earth can't grow plants? No worries - gawd will make them grow.
Can't breathe the air? No worries - gawd will fill your lungs with air.
No Water? No worries!!!
BREED - CONSUME - BREED - CONSUME - BREED - CONSUME
SICKENING... Fundies should be sterilized at puberty.
Why would a Christian worry about the world running out of resources?
Damn, it appears that the part of the FSTDT site with the pictures to link to is not working at the moment, right when that pic of the starving third world kids is just screaming be used.
There are countless human beings worldwide who are starving to death. Many will be dying even as I type. They don't have food to put in their childrens' mouths, let alone a voice to be heard by the likes of yourself, but if you were somehow to hear from them then the message would probably go something like this:
Fuck you, you arrogant, self-centred son of a bitch.
Following your logic, why should we not commit sins, if God is the handyman of the universe?. Muslims don't seem to worry, of course, that's why they emigrate so much.
...ooookay. And the fact that animals the size of humans normally number some 50 million, and we're pushing past 6 billion isn't bothering you the least?
My Gawd, what the intelligent people of this planet might have achieved if we didn't have to deal with all the Homer Simpsons milling about.
I read the thread and it's sickening, everyone blaming the childless people for not having kids.
Ugh.
Thomas Malthus is rising out of the grave to spit at your feet, tygerkittn.
"Basically, that's because you're all idiots. "
Shit, I can't top that, so I'll repeat it.
So all those thousands upon thousands of children dying in famines in Africa are just figments of our imagination?
Mormons and Catholics ARE Christians, idiot! And just because other kiddies jump off the cliff, doesn't mean you have to be just as stupid.
No-one died of hunger and preventable diseases during the Dark Age, right? God met everyone's needs and everyone lived happy and fulfilling long lives? Every child survived into adulthood and no women died while giving birth?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
