The God of Abraham is the only real God. If you don't believe in him then you can't be called a real theist.

Other than the fact those most monotheistic religions believe in the God of Abraham, you're sorely misinformed. The other gods are just as valid as yours (that is to say, none at all, from my viewpoint).
So why does he have to be known as "The God of Abraham" then? And the commandment of not having other gods before him kinda implies that there are indeed other gods. In other words, David Deas, you FAIL.
Theist: one who believes in a deity or deities.
That's ANY god. Prove yours is the "only true God," please. And no, "the Bible says so" is not proof.
And what was that about "thou shalt have no OTHER GODS before me?" Hm.
I see the dark lord Satan has many followers here...
The Bible, which is inerrant, clearly states that the God of Abraham is the only real one, and every other deity is man's creation aided by the influence of Satan. These truths have been borne out by history, as false relgions and gods have been cast aside while belief in the true God continues to expand.
You will all experience the fires of hell if you continue to follow pagan gods and worship monkey-man ancestors.
The Bible, which is inerrant
According to itself. If I were going to write a book telling everyone they had to follow my rules I'd say it was inerrant too.
clearly states that the God of Abraham is the only real one
So what? Again, if I were to invent a god I'd say it was the only real one.
You will all experience the fires of hell
We're all really scared here.
Or maybe not.
After reading some of his other posts on the site in question, I've come to the firm and studied conclusion that this is a studied application of Poe's Law:
Omni-Genesis is the thinking that since God allegedly created every detail of the Universe, the Universe is a reflection of its creator as a deterministic place of evil. This thinking says that if God created everything down to the last detail, then free will cannot exist.
(*) Since we're talking about the Biblical God here, I see a tremendous issue with the assumption that God was omniscient in the first place. If God was omniscient, then he would not have made the mistakes and miscalculations that he admitted to, and neither would he have had to run experiments on humanity as he commonly did in the Bible. As much as God boasted to be all knowing, I suspect its clear from his actions that he was obviously embellishing the truth. Or flat out lying, to be more honest.
(*) I also take further issue with the idea that God created the Universe. Where the heck exactly is that verse located in the Bible?
Nice one, guy :D Hat's off to ya.
Ah, crap. Just don't read one of those "studied" thingies up there, it'll make a little more sense. Department of Redundancy Department anyone?
This is what I get for coming here all liquored up...
Confused?
