(On the Pentagon legalizing trans soldiers )
/sarcasm on
Now wait folks, this really is a good thing. Because soon the military will have to do away with all hazing. To keep people from being discriminated against.
And you know how tough the military will be without hazing and all the cruelties, right?
I just hope our enemies don't decide to be mean and call the troops mean names....they might get feelings hurt and go cry to mommy....hey, maybe we could suggest a change to the global rules of war! No name-calling.

So while you were being bullied and hazed, you kept thinking how grateful you were to be made tougher? Or were you just sitting there waiting until you had your turn to be the bully?
Hazing doesn't make people stronger. It's an excuse for bullies to institutionalize their cruelty.
No, let's make the US Army like the Imperial Japanese Army, where joining and being part of it was basically like being in a street gang with regular beatings and being jumped in and shit. "For morale", you know?
Oh yeah. Nothing promotes unity and discipline quite like ignoring both the military's code of conduct and the law to make someone's life a living hell for no good reason.
Also: "/sarcasm off" is as redundant as your frontal lobe apparently is, you blithering idiot.
Armies are trained in obeying orders. Clear, simple orders have been given to them. If they can't handle working alongside a transgendered person, if the mere thought of that throws them into a meltdown, how the devil are they supposed to be tough enough to fight a war?
Why are you so scared of anyone who thinks differently to you being on Ruptured Retards, then?
Or is it because you don't want 'The Enemy' to be mean and call your J-boy mean names... you might get feelings hurt and go cry to Todd Strandberg.
...hey, maybe we could suggest a change to your rules: unless you can take it, you don't have the right to think of dishing it out in the first place.
...and Doug Piranha says you suck at sarcasm, Clement.
Firefly, I want you to really try hard not to be a total dick. I happen to be heterosexual myself, but if retards like you knew how many gay guys were in the military back in the late 70's early 80's, when I served, you would realize that all that is being done is de-stigmatizing a significant number of servicemen/women who are ALREADY in the Armed Forces. Now they just don't have to worry about an enlistment or even a career suddenly ending because of sweetpea ass idiots like YOU! (Sarcasm off.) How's that rapture bullshit going, dolt? Still nothing, huh? (Sarcasm on.) I'm totally shocked, I say!)
"Hazing doesn't make people stronger. It's an excuse for bullies to institutionalize their cruelty."
And if any hazing target fights back, perhaps ending with one or more of the hazers dead, the general reaction is likely to be "*You* had nothing to AVENGE! *You* weren't WRONGED! You're JUST A (slur) ! So those you ATTACKED FOR NO REASON were *ENTITLED*!!!!!!"
Yes, because damaging unit cohesion and fomenting internal conflict is certainly good for troop morale. Being tough on the troops in training is one thing (by all means! War isn't easy, and training for it shouldn't be): them being tough on each other in divisive ways is another.
Confused?
