I am afraid that if we had Obama at the helm, Iran may get their wish.

- None so blind as those who will not see. Death is coming to America from within. The political system of checks and balances laid down by the founding fathers has been bucked by an imperial presidency under GWB and his slimy pet neocons. So forget Obama. He could do no worse than has already been achieved under Bush.
- how many trillions is American in debt now, after dispersing a vast surplus left by Clinton?
- What sweetheart deals have diverted public funds into private hands, while American soldiers went short of life-saving materials (kevlar etc)?
- What president, ably supported by his cabinet and tame neocons lied to the American people and to the world about WMD so as to be able to destabilise a whole country and turn it into a camp for anti-American terrorism? Whose side was Bush on? The Shi'ites'?
- Who knew that neoconism has its roots in the American Trotskyism - significantly a godless Jewish mafia style organisation, but without the violence? And does this president's associtation with them not taint the American presidency in associtating with people whose roots are so anti-democratic, as America understands that word?
- What the hell are fundamentalists thinking in supporting such a set-up?
- I could go on. But it's really a matter for Americans.
I just wish America would wake up and take an interest in its politics other than on a religious basis.
