I’m related to three guys that tried to commit suicide on their mission. They were sent to countries where the RCC owns all the cemeteries and got NOT takers. Felt they’d failed God. Got NO fucking support from the church beyond ‘try harder.’

Some time back, they turned a book into a movie. The book was ‘The Pope Must Die.’ The title was fully justified by the plot. But the Catholics prevented distribution until they changed the name fo ‘The Pope Must Diet.’ A title fully justified by having Hagrid playing the role of the new Pope.
Or the Ranch Dressing commercial where a guy took a bottle of dressing to communion to improve the taste of the Lord. That ad didn’t last a week.
