Not that this will help, but I'm so sorry that that happened to you. It happened to someone in my own family many years ago, and it still haunts her. Hwever, she is now happily married to someone who actually loves her and is getting help, so there can be help out out there for people who have been hurt the way you have.
I'm assuming that this person is saying "God loves you so much-if only you'll just accept him!" Even though they got there meaning somewhat mixed up. Though if you were a good, believing person at four years old, that kindof disproves that whole person's theory...
As someone who was also molested, I have only this to say: DIAF, moron.

Apparently he didn't love her enough to protect her from getting raped. I'm sure it was for her own good, though. God, these fucking people all deserve to suffer for their stupidity and ignorance. "Die in a fire" is probably appropriate here.
And to the victim, I'm sorry to hear that such a thing even happened to you. It just shows again how cold and illogical this world can be.
Well, Penny opened up about a very traumatic episode in her life, and fromthesquare used it as an excuse to proselytize. That = DIAF. If she wanted to be sympathetic she could have said something more constructive.
I'm not sure what the context of this quote is - seems to me to be someone trying to be comforting as much as they can (given a limited view of the world). True enough, an annoying time to be seen as a preacher. But look at it from another angle, it's someone who is 'throwing away' their usual judgements (if they're religious) and showing maybe some actual compassion. Usually they say, people who don't believe in God, don't believe because they are so immoral, but in this case, it's excusable and understandable. The supposedly iron law, got superceded.
