Any "Christian" who engages in bullying is clearly an atheist who is just pretending to be a Christian (including to themselves).

Okay that's it.
I'm devoting my life to developing vaccines against fallacies. If only, some day, we can inject these people to immunize them against basic, readily refuted informal fallacies by injecting a No True Scotsman serum right into their damn bloodstream.
Or, perhaps more realistically, we can diagnose these people as having "cognitive malfunctions", and operate on their brains?
Oh, and for the record, if this person seeks to humiliate, denigrate, and otherwise put down atheists in such a way that it constitutes a form of bullying, would it be a tacit admission that they themselves are an atheist?
Ok... so any Christian who you think of as bad isn't really a Christian, but an atheist. But then there is no such thing as a true atheist because we secretly all know there's a god but deny it because we like butt sex. ...
I wish you guys could just decide. You can't have it both ways, you know. I think such indecision and confusion is the mark of Satan. Go pray. In fact, I think you should gather all your Christian friends and acquaintances and fast until you come to a consensus. That would solve ALL our problems. =D
I have never had an atheist threaten me with eternal damnation if I wouldn't change my belief system to match his.
I have never had an atheist knock on my door at an indecent hour on a weekend morning and refuse to go away when I said I was not interested in his message.
No atheist ever told my late husband, who was Jewish, that he was going to hell unless he changed his belief system.
In fact, I've never met an atheist who pressed his belief system on ANYONE...ever. I've never heard an atheist advocate or even try to justify the killing of children or sending good people to eternal torment because they won't switch to atheism.
I cannot, however, say the same for most of the xtians I have had the misfortune to meet.
Not everyone who bullies other people are athiest, in fact alot of them do it in the name of your god. Ever heard of Fred Phelps?
Athiest are not the ones telling other people that their going to hell.
I'm a christian and will stone you to death if you do not believe in God, but I can't bully you or it will prove me an atheist.
Damn I think I understa.........[Head Explodes]
-Actually, this one isn't too bad. "Dreidel" admits that people who call themselves 'Christians' and act in ways obviously contrary to Christian teachings are just fooling themselves. Whether "Dreidel" is able (or needs to) to apply this to him/herself is another question, I guess.
-Remember, when fundies say 'clearly' they mean 'possibly, given that you stretch a point of view or word definition to the point of breaking with sanity'.
- And a verrah cute username.
wait, does this also mean that any atheist who doesn't engage in bullying is clearly a christian who is just pretending to be an atheist (including to themselves) ?
does that mean you're going to stop judging me just becuase I CLAIM to be an atheist?
no?
oh... no... I didn't really think so.. (/cry)
Any "Christian" who engages in charitable behavior and is overall a decent human being is clearly an atheist who is just pretending to be a Christian (including to themselves). Because peaceful and kind temperaments are completely against God's will to have man be in His image: fickle, jealous, and smite-happy.
the strawman song, for dreidel
dreidel dreidel dreidel
you built it out of hay
dreidel dreidel dreidel
upright he will not stay
Uh-huh...so basically bad people = atheist, good people = Christian. Never mind what they actually BELIEVE, that's all it REALLY boils down to, eh?
By this logic there would be like 17 real christians in the whole world.
Pretending to be a christian? The last time I pretended to be a christian I was 13 and told I HAD to study for my communion. I stopped going to church alltogether about a year later.
That's right, you've got me. Dispite professing to be a Christian all my life and constantly insisting that I am, in fact, a Christian, I'm really an atheist spy.
I yield to Dreidel1913's superior detecting skills.
According to a history professor I had in college, during the Middle Ages calling somebody an "Atheist" was basically like calling someone a "Communist" during the Cold War or a "Terrorist" today.
It seems that Dreidel1913 is attempting to revive this practice.
Yep, and all corrupt, homosexual, perverted, evil Republican senators are actually Democrat moles wasting their entire life in order to cause one embarrassing headline.
Isn't suggesting that only atheists are capable of bullying a form of bullying? Because, let's face it, you have nothing to back up your claim and lots to discredit it, therefore you are clearly just saying it to damage atheists.
What about the men of God in the Bible that committed blatant acts of murder, rape, genocide, and incest?
You see what these atheists have done? They've even infiltrated the Bible!
Well it's good to know that the world works in such simplistic ways. Anyone who is on your side that makes you look bad isn't REALLY on your side, but anyone on OUR side that makes us look bad (And even some of the guys on your side) are examples of why we are truly, truly heinous.
"Any "Christian" who engages in bullying is clearly an atheist who is just pretending to be a Christian (including to themselves)."
I'm an Atheist. I don't go around bullying Christians, telling them that they must read Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion" or something unimaginably nasty will happen to them.
So going by your logic, I must be a Christian more loving, humble and righteous than even Jesus himself.
Your belief system will have to be changed to 'Anon-e-mooseist', Dreidel1913. I think I'm going to like being praised and worshipped. Can't promise 'eternal life', but all I ask is for you & your ilk to 'Be Excellent To Each Other!'
