And we depend on the Muslim nations to supply our oil and gas? If we only knew the amount available to us, we would be outraged to be paying foreign nations tons of money for a barrel of oil. Something like this alerts us to many things. We have the capability as a nation to take care of this situation, but they...The Elite....WANT our land to be destroyed. HAARP controls ALL our weather patterns to the utmost but we are never told that. Man's weapons destroyed the East Cost area last month, and all we get are lies and disinformation. Never trust any dept of govt. They are not there for our good, believe me!

Actually, cdcdrr, our petroleum production is near record levels and increasing. Oil companies hold the rights to roughly 60 million acres of new well sites that are not used because they don't want or need to drill there yet. And that doesn't even include the many wells which were drilled and then capped for future exploitation.

Of course, there is a way that we could get those wells into production more quickly. All that we would have to do is defray the cost of new drill rigs and other infrastructure with tax credits to the most profitable industry in human history. If the oil companies were willing to put up the front end money they would have by now. Don't let the Reichwhiners convince you that we are not utilizing our petroleum reserves. It's simply a myth concocted for political gain.
