Yes, it is, but so what? Many things in the Bible are stupid, twisted and/or just plain wrong. Creation is just one of them.

Those of us who understand and accept the ToE don't say that. we say that humans and monkeys share a common ancestor way, way back.
The ToE may not make you feel special and happy, but that does not mean it is in error.
