I can explain to you really easily why so many scientists don't believe the creationist ideas. It is because of the way their mind works... It [evolution] makes more sense based on what we can see, feel, understand. But, I hate to break it to you, but they are wrong.

Why yes, they believe it because of the way their minds work. Logically, using evidence to draw conclusions, not taking something for granted until it has been tested more than once, etc. You know, like scientists.
Scientists believe things because they can see it, feel it, and understand it. If you want to prove them wrong, you have to play by the rules of science. So where's your evidence?
No, sparky, that's just an old book. I said evidence.
Well yeah, scientists only deal with empirical evidence. And if we wouldn't your specific brand of creationism wouldn't be the only one. When all empirical evidence flies out the window and you allow for faith in the supernatural to take it's place you suddenly have a myriard of different supernatural explanations which are all equally unfalsifiable and valid. Who is to say that the Earth wasn't created as it is just now? Kant explained that metaphysics can't be part of science and he was right. You are NOT somehow more enlightened than us scientists just because you ignore more than 300 years of the philosophy and methodology of science.
But oh well, I will bite: explain to me your brilliant reasoning against evolution without resorting to the supernatural. You can't? How very surprising...
“It [evolution] makes more sense based on what we can see, feel, understand. But, I hate to break it to you, but they are wrong.”
You essentially agree that the ToE is accepted because of evidence, and you say creationism is right, but offer zip evidence.
Why the fuck would we believe you?
I can explain to you really easily why so many fundies don't believe the evolution ideas. It is because of the way their mind works... It [creation] makes more sense to them based on how they understand what we can see, feel. I hate to break it to you, but they are wrong.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
