lately it seems like every time I leave my house, people will stop and stare at me with a most hateful glance!
one day it went so far that a girl walking her dog stopped right in front of my jeep and stared at me. and her huge german shepard did too!
in the stores, lately, i have been treated like a total nussance and burden!
my wife has experienced the same occurances this past week.
even more astounding is that anyone who treats me with any friendlyness seems to make some sort of reference to The Word!
call me paranoid but I feel as if the world is reeeaaally starting to reject us [Christians] and I don't think they even know why. have any of you noticed a surge in hatefulness and rejection?

Actually, I suspect that this could be a natural response to fundy prediliction for trying to force your version of morality on everyone else.
When was the last time you heard a sitting president say that christians should not be considered citizens or even patriots?
You have nothing to fear, shithola.
Yes, you're a total paranoid and very egocentric, as well. How do they know you're Christian, to begin with?, can it be because you're doing unusual things?
That whole thread over there is just kind of odd. It’s pretty much a rant on the whole world being rude. Maybe it’s just me, but I usually don’t encounter flat out rudeness on a daily bases. It’s not like I never see it, but overall most of the people I encounter in daily life are usually rather pleasant.

When you start believing that dogs are persecuting you, it's time to reassess your sanity.
Lawyer: Please describe for the court in your own words how you were persecuted for your Christian beliefs.
Fundy: Well, *sniff* there I was minding my own business and suddenly *squeek* this woman came out of no where an visciously gave me a look! *boo hoo hooo hoooooooo*
Audience : *Gasp*
Sounds to me like you(and your wife) are first-class assholes, hiding behind your Chrisitanity as an excuse for people disliking you instead of admitting that you are total jerks and not likeable people. Most people could care less about a person's religion(no matter how bizarre) if they are nice and friendly.
Maybe it's the military haircut, storm trooper boots, hunting knife on his belt and the black tee shirt with "Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters" on it.
Nah, it ain't "hatefulness" - just rejection. The world is growing up and you're going to get Left Behind (in the real sense of the words).
Sorry, sethola, but your take on this rapture thing is kinda twisted 360 degrees.
Get a clue, get an education and stop bothering people.
Without the dog, I would have just pegged this person as the neighborhood preacher. With the dog...I'm still inclined to believe it, but toss in a dash of paranoia, too.
'have any of you noticed a surge in hatefulness and rejection???'
'Well my son told me he was gay so I rejected him and told him I hate him and everyone like him'
'No, no, I mean from the opposite angle'

It's funny how these people always see themselves as a tiny minority persecuted by the rest of society although the US is 80%+ Christian.

Er, her huge German shepherd might not have been the dog.
I thought you were just being neurotic and paranoid about being persecuted because of your religion but that bit about the dog giving you a hateful look proves you're as rational as the next guy.
(Of course, the next guy is a strait-jacketed loony in a padded cell.)
Don't worry, you're just the neighbourhood freaks. :)
Of course, it depends if you've done anything in the past, such as passed out stupid tracts, yelled harrassment at people in the name of "spreading the word" and so on. If not, then I do kinda feel sorry for you...
In anyone else, I would suspect paranoia.
In one of the Rapture Ready idiots, it's more likely wishful thinking. "Everybody hates us! The Rapture is nigh!"

Incel identified!

Wait, you're married?
When I moved from Sweden's second-largest town to a smaller town in another part of Sweden, I suddenly noticed that everyone was staring at me. First I thought that I had something on my shirt or something, but it was much too often (I'm not that sloppy). Then it dawned upon me that people were just looking at me, to see if they knew me. Here, most people know each other, or know someone who knows someone. In Gothenburg, there were about half a million people around, and seeing someone you knew was very rare, so you don't really look at people but walk around with a thousand-yard-stare.
To OP, how can people know you're a fundie? It can't just be that you're a Christian, because you make up about 2,3 billion people on Earth, and a majority of the Americans are Christians.
How has this supposed rejection progressed during the 11-12 years since you wrote this, dearie?
We lack elements. Might be illusions, might be real, might be real but provoked, might be something else.
@Glandu
By real, but provoked, we can take as one possibility that sethola spends Sundays at a street corner talking about how everyone is a foul child molesting rapist because they won't murder every fag they see, and telling them all that God is going to send them all to hell for not bowing down and worshipping at sethola's feet. That would certainly get a nasty look from me, at the very least.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
