What makes you assume that humans did not live alongside dinos?

I don't know: the fact the oldest humans (and most mammals, for that matter) have been consistently dated to have been on the scene millions of years after the youngest of the dinosaurs that have been dated. But, that's right, all methods of radiometric are flawed, because Jesus is messing with our heads. What a tricky God you guys worship...
Naw, my dad told me stories of how he and his dad used to go brontosaurus hunting.
Well, actually I got that from a Calvin and Hobbes strip, which is way more credible than whatever your reading.
"What makes you assume that humans did not live alongside dinos?"
Lack of fossils in the appropriate geological strata. Why, what makes you think they did? The Flintstones?
No assuming necessary. Real-world evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the fact that dinosaurs and humans never coexisted. The best specialized intellects in the world have contributed, and continue to contribute, to a very unambiguous timeline, never mind the precise dating methods.
Fossil records, historical records, radiometric dating- little things like that.
Also... "whitebreadnotbrown"?
In the beginning, God created the Flintstones. And He saw that it was Good. And He follew it up with the Jetsons. And He saw that it, too was Good. And so He rested, in front of the TV, with his bowl of Froot Loops and glass of Orange Juice for a full day's supply of Vitamin C. and it was Good. And they All laughed heartily at what He had Done...
Because no human fossils have ever been found in the same strata as dinosaur fossils, and they're dated millions of years apart?
Oh, I'm sorry, let me rephrase that in terms you'll understand.
They're aint no dinosurs in teh Bible.
All the evidence.
Next idiot.
I'm sure he got some of those answers given here, just as I'm sure he probably followed up with:
"Were you there?"
"Why do you trust the scientists so much? They have an agenda"
"That's been debunked by our fine creationist scientists who you can trust because they have no agenda"
"Uh, uh, human and dinosaur prints together in some riverbed, checkmate"
" Wait till Dr Hovind gets outta jail, he's gotten four more PHds while in there so far, He'll have over seven soon, he'll show you all"
"What makes you assume that humans did not live alongside dinos?"
Because if they did, you wouldn't fucking exist. Can you say 'T-Rex'? 'Velociraptor'? I know you can.
PROTIP: "The Flintstones" and "Jurassic Park" are not documentaries*.
Next question.
*- Although I wish the latter film was . Many's the time I've imagined these Cre(a)ti(o)nists were the lawyer in that scene, where he's sitting on the bog, hiding from the T-Rex, and...! >:D
Primarily because the world's leading denigrator of science, misrepresenter of science, king-of-all liars about science, and complete fuckwit, Kent Hovind, said they did.
Oh, yeah, that and all of the EVIDENCE.
“What makes you assume that humans did not live alongside dinos?”
Oh, we do. But you probably don’t like thinking of chickens as dinosaurs, or humans as apes.
And you’re wrong thinking the net result of a shitload of reasearch is an assumption.
Confused?
