My foot is not hurting and I claim the healing.
About 2-3 months ago I stepped on a Sweetgum ball, and it rolled under my foot toward the back and I had a painful senstion in my heel. About two weeks later I did the same thing again and I almost fainted that time because of the pain. I went to the dr. and he said it was a bone bruise and not much could be done, stay off of it and soak it in epson salt and use a gel cusion shoe insert. He said one week it would be better that was 4 weeks ago and i was still limping on it. I take care of my grandson while my dd and her husband works. He will be 3 in August and there is no way I could stay off of it.
I Have been praying about the pain and this morning i got out of bed and it barely hurt and a few minutes ago grandson and I went out to feed the cats and I realized I was walking without any pain. I began praising God for the healing and when I got through I noticed grandson was just standing there respectful and hands clasped, and then he said "A-men" I know he did not know what was being said or why but in my mind i thought "train a child in the way he should go."

You're all broken up about a little bruised heel? What a pussy. Also, your grandson's not even three yet, so he's probably just thinking "shit, granny's raving to herself again, better say amen before she beats me with a shoe." Yeah, he knows how it goes by now.
Oh and when do you people ever stop thinking about/talking about/praying to Jesus long enough to breed? I just don't see how so many of you have such large families. But maybe you guys are just turned on by different things than most people.
Yes, I'm sure jezuz has nothing better to do with his time than worry about your big-footed clumsiness.
The doctor told you to stay off it; you refused. He said it should be better in a week; four weeks later, because of your stupid-assed refusal to listen, you were still limping.
Sounds to me like you prolonged your own recovery. You are an asshole.
And leave your grandson alone, before you fuck his life up, as you have your own.
Fucking goddamned loser.
So your bruise finally healed despite ignoring your doctor's advice, and now it's god's doing? I wonder why your jackass god didn't do something earlier? Oh, I know. He was busy planning his latest genocide. AMEN!!
"But, the 3 year old grandson saying "Amen"...either he is lying for Jesus, or that is one eerily indoctrinated child..."
Considering the atmosphere he was raised in, it would be odd if he couldn't say words like "amen" and "abomination".
Man ... God is so great he took your bone bruise, which was supposed to heal in one week, and he healed it in four weeks!
It's like some weird version of Hanukkah.
So let me get this straight, you ignored your doctors direction and your pain took four times as long to subside and that somehow makes it a miracle of the Xian god?! Shouldn't he have just taken care of it instantly without messy doctors appointments, "epson" salt or gel inserts? You, madam, are seriously deluded.
So... your doctor said to wait and it'd get better, you waited, and it got better, and this is a miracle?
Why didn't god heal you four weeks ago?
Hmmm. So the doctor said nothing could be done but allow time for it to heal on its own. So, she kept praying and, instead of the one-week recuperation period the doctor had predicted, it actually took over a month. Next time, forget the prayers; they obviously did nothing to speed recovery.
Perhaps you should stop leaving sweetgum balls lying around where you can step on them?
Also, there's hardly anything miraculous about an injury slowly healing over time. This story might have been impressive if the injury healed itself the instant you prayed about it, but as it stands, your story is nothing special. I had the exact same thing happen to me a few months back: I had a compressed nerve in my wrist (similar to carpal tunnel, but in the ulnar nerve, rather than the median), which hurt like hell for months. I wore a wrist brace for a month, and woke up one morning to find no pain. The only difference is that I didn't pray... so, yeah, I doubt there was anything divine about your little heal injury.
So it took God three months to heal you? Odd, stuff like that usually heals by itself much sooner.
Does this mean that God is less efficient that the body's natural healing processes?
There are actual people actually dying from starvation, torture, natural disasters, and freak diseases all across the globe, but *thank fuck* your god has time to heal your foot.
If I were you, I'd be ashamed that you've taken precious healing time away from your deity, but hey, that's just me.
Well, you know, it's possible that if you don't take your doctor's advice and you walk on an injured foot when you're not supposed to that it will just take longer to heal. I mean, I know it's a stretch to take that into consideration instead of thinking that GOD all of a sudden had an inclination to heal you, but... Just throwing that out there.
And, yeah, kids will mimic what their parents/guardians do... It doesn't mean a thing other than they're being a copy-cat.
How can a loving, omnipotent, omniscient God coexist with a Universe in which sweetgum balls are wantonly wounding the faithful? A truly benevolent God would likely smack you in the back of the head so as to force you to watch where the hell you're going.
You went to the doctor for a pain in your heel?
Who in America can afford that? I know if I go to the doctor, it costs so much I'd better be dying.
Confused?
