No dead Christians either, at least in the form rs41 assumes them to be; lots of memories, though, and that's all that matters.
I think the poster is claiming that, after we die, we get to see for sure that there is a God and a devil and an afterlife commensurate with his religious beliefs; ergo, one cannot help but believe in God then.

Holding a belief in the nonexistence of supreme deities requires that you are able to form a coherent thought, which corpses thankfully cannot.

But there's a hell of a lot of dead Christians though. Walk through any church graveyard. And when you lot are on your deathbed, wheezing out your last, and you realise the (C)Rapture hasn't happened, and you missed out all the fun things that made life worth living, because of your stupid waiting & praying, only then at the end will you understand. So understand this :

Disagree. Dead people are unable to hold religious beliefs, therefore all dead people lack belief. Which means all dead people are, by definition, atheists.
If you mean, that as the brain sease to work, no thoughts nor philosophies remain, and that the dead body is just a dead body, with no religion or lack thereof anymore, then yes, you're correct.
If you mean that all atheists convert before death, you're full of it. Besides, what are we supposed to convert to? Bahá'í, perhaps...
Well, technically, he's right. We can logically determine that, when someone dies, they will either
A) Have an afterlife, providing the necessary evidence for an atheist to convert, or,
B) Be dead, and unable to identify with any belief.
Of course, this doesn't account for the possibility of an afterlife that confirms an atheistic religion, such as Buddhism, so I guess he could be wrong.
