Darwin wasn't even a scientist ... There are simply too many gaps in the fossil records to prove Darwinian evolution. Many scientists today say that Darwins ideas are hypothetical at best

And guess what, if you find a fossil, it's not a gap anymore! So there will always be gaps until there's only one left! And even then we'll need transition fossils through those 'cause we're in denial! CHECKMATE, ATHEISTS.
The bloody pope admitted evolution was "more than just a theory".
"Darwin wasn't even a scientist."
Darwin, by using the scientific method, made himself a scientist. That's as simple as that.
"There are simply too many gaps in the fossil records to prove Darwinian evolution."
When there are gaps, then we have to extrapolate. What is funny is how new fossils often match the extrapolations. What is also funny is how when it doesn't match, the scientific community is able to accept its errors and correct the tree of life. Another funny thing: Darwin works were based on compared anatomy. Fossils just tend to confirm his theory, just like genetics, or other study fields.

If by "many" you mean "less than 5% of the scientists that work in the biological field", then I guess you're right.
“Darwin wasn't even a scientist...”
I don’t think anyone has ever claimed that he was…?
“There are simply too many gaps in the fossil records to prove Darwinian evolution.”
Golly. If only there were OTHER evidence for evolution besides the fossil record…
Maybe you should read more than the chapter titles of those textbooks?

Many? HOW many?
The US has just about a million scientists working in the country.
How many of them would suggest that Darwin’s theories are hypothetical?
And how many of them accept evolution as an established scientific theory, one of the best supported ones in the whole industry?
I mean, I don’t usually suggest an argument from popularity, but you have started it. Can you back it up, or is this just a pathetic hand-wave of pure fiction?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
