A quick review of the first and second laws of thermodynamics clearly would cause any rational person to conclude that everything in the universe moves from hot to cold, and from order to dis-order... we are all disintergrating!!!! That's what mutation is all about for all you bone-head biologists out there that can't put two and two together... But perhaps there are many like you that simply are not rational or have never studied college level physics. That's ok. You've probably got another 50 or 60 more trips around the sun to sober up. And the thought of death is a sobering one when its real.

What about when gravity draws together (cold) hydrogen gas until there is enough of it to start a (very hot) fusion reaction? How does that play into your "everything in the universe moves from hot to cold"?
You went to college for physics? Let me repeat something you probably heard a lot from your professors: you fail.
actually, the hydrogen gas being drawn into hot clumps and forming stars perfectly obeys the second law of thermodynamics, the clumps are a higher entropy form than the cloud of gas.
also, there is no law anywhere in thermodynamics that states that everything moves from hot to cold. just so you know
everything in the universe moves from hot to cold
Oh man, and I wanted to make myself a cup of tea later. But according to Psalms1188 it is impossible to heat water !
Do they ever think about what they are writing?
My law of thermodynamics is that no fundie has ever understood any law of thermodynamics - ever. I truly fear for the future of the children if this imbecile really has studied "college level physics."
If tomorrow's scientists and leaders are being taught what fundies believe (on virtually any subject), we'll be back in the Stone Age before too many more trips around the sun.
A quick review of your post shows that you're not a rational person.
I haven't studied physics higher than our gymnasium level (about 17-18 years old), and I will probably not have another 60 trips around the sun, unless I live to be 104 years old. But who knows; my grandfather lived to be 93, and when he was my current age, people lived to be about 65-70. Now the average age-span is 86 for women.
We are all disintegrating, sooner or later, stupid. Is there fake death? Real death doesn't scare me; I just want it to happen much, much later in my life.
Too bad you skipped high school level biology.
And basic reading skills, it seems. Isn't there something about "closed system" in those laws of thermodynamics? We have an extra-terrestrial source of energy, silly; it's called "Sun".
"A quick review of the first and second laws of thermodynamics"
1- Scientific fact =/= 'faith'. Indeed, the latter is the anti thesis of the former. You FAIL.
2- Use of a worse -than 'meme' among Cre(a)ti(o)nist fundies. You argument is invalid . You FAIL II.
3- Unless this entire solar system at least is within a huge Dyson's Sphere - or at worst (for you ) the whole observable universe is contained in one the size of the 'Frontier' in the film "The Last Starfighter" - then I'm afraid that you FAIL III, and you & this worse-than pathetic excuse you lot continually wheel out (in denial that we Atheists are right ) have struck out.
Dontchalovit when people who have no clue about the laws of thermodynamics and have fallen for bullshit fundie dogma call everyone else stupid?
No, me neither.
Look at the sun dick, keep looking, when you can keep that up all day then you, the blind in pain beyond belief idiot, can tell me it means nothing.
It's beyond belief that these people can be convinced the sun means nothing, imparts no energy, especially considering most these fundies live in the South and are under cover much of the day. Religion doesn't just make you believe shit that isn't true it also makes you deny shit the is obviously real.
Law (science) isn't equal to law (religion/juridiction).
Also that's not how any of this works. And you know, biologists like me have to take courses in chemistry and physics as well, so we probably know more about them than you do, judging from your comment.
Reminds me of the guy who stated that the second law of thermodynamics means that evolution can't possibly work since it lacks... a giant energy source outside the earth!
I still hope that that wasn't a poe to this day, because it's such a great punchline.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
