Yes, God does exist. I am a christian, and frankly I find it easier just to believe than to try and prove existance through science. If you're just like "Yeah, some entity made universe, the end, good game." It's alot easier on your mind and stuff.

The way most Christians describe their god, I find science to be much easier to believe, you know, with the lack of contradictions and stuff.

Yeah! The truth is too hard to understand, so let's make up a fairy tale and follow that instead! Oh, and mathematics is also too hard, so from now on "42" is the answer to all mathematical questions. And writing is also so hard on your mind, so let us just type "lol lol lol lol" instead!

This sounds rather honest to me. :) Theistic evolutionists must also have similar ideas to still be inspired by the idea of a God while accepting scientific knowledge. To entertain faith in the apparently impossible, like life after death, or hoping that some people will somehow face divine retribution for the harm they've caused... And an imaginary father or mother to call help to, when desperate enough and needing comfort. Even if they can't prove their existence. Makebelieve, it's simple. Like kids with their toys.
