And yet somehow your crowd believed that it was the will of God for Bush to run the country, even though he caused the deaths of thousands of people and did everything he could to hand the country over to the wealthy, so your opinion of what God would want for the country really doesn't hold water, does it?

Too bad about John Adams who was Unitarian and therefore not really a conventional Christian (not believing in the divinity of Jesus, for example). Also too bad - maybe - about James Buchanan who it's strongly suspected was gay. In short, you're too late.
So then why did he write the Constitution to imply that everyone in this country is equal? I don't remember any clause stating that atheists, gays, or women don't have the right to run for congress.
What's really sad is that except for his comment about females, nobody took him to task for this comment in that thread. And then you even had people agreeing with him 100%.
