I sat next to a girl who I assume was Muslim at the library today (she was wearing long pants, a headscarf, and a long-sleeved shirt). Somehow, I don't think she seemed too interested in plotting my destruction despite that I was wearing a Star of David necklace. Not all Muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are Muslim.

So, was I the only one thinking "poe" when I read this? I mean, it could certainly be real, as there are plenty of people who feel that way, but when he proudly calls himself "intolerant" I get a bit suspicious.
I might have met this guy! I have never been Muslim. I do, however, love to swim before work, and have long, thick hair that doesn't dry quickly. I put one of my silk scarves over the back of my hair on the bus to work--my bangs showed. I am white and American. This dude on the bus glared at me, and when I said, "Problem?", he went off about how horrible it was that Americans like me convert to Islam when we've seen what it does. I told him I kinda wished I had.
Later I tied my hair back in a ponytail using that same big, bad scarf, and guess what? No problem from anyone!
I hope a real Muslimah decks ol' Gonzo and/or gets the cops to him quickstyle.
