You will note that the earth today is not the earth of Genesis. The earth in Genesis had a water layer that encapsulated the earth. Water as most know, deflects infrared radiation (IR) and ultraviolent radiation (UV). That water canopy gave the earth a moderate climate both day and night. Also, presently, oxygen does escape the earth in the upper atmosphere. The earth in Genesis likely concentrated the oxygen on earth and allowed its inhabitants to breath an atmosphere that allowed them to live longer in a pollution free environment, with no detrimental effects from the sun, and I believe the foods that were on the earth in Genesis is different from today. Note in Genesis 2, man's source of food was the trees. Dr. Kei Mori, a Japanese scientist, tried to recreate the earth of Genesis using a sphere filled with concentrated oxygen and nutrient rich soil. He put in a tomato plant in the sphere. The sphere was made of a substance that reflected IR and UV.rays. The tomato plant as you should know is a vine. However in this sphere, the tomato plant became a tree! Further, tomato plants die within 3 months. This "tomato tree" has lived more than a decade and it produces thousands of tomatoes every year.
