Maybe we need a new acronym for this. How about Anti-Pre-Trib Rapture Derangement Syndrome? "APTRDS" Is that too hard to say? It seems familiar. Somebody else has probably suggested it already.

It was inevitable they would turn on their own tribe, all these extreme groups hit this "my way or out" mentality in time. It's decimated the Tea-Party down to it's extremist racist fraction in the same way, these fundamentalist churchs are a result of a singular dogma breaking from mainstream Protestants, next step, death cult.
Soon this guy will be foaming mouth mad that his heroes, Beck, Oreilly, Nugent and Limbaugh aren't talking his brand of Christian paranoia enough.

... So, basically, it's the people who think they won't suffer any of the tribulation versus the people who think they will suffer HALF the tribulation.
Man, we should introduce those guys to Star Trek and then wait five days until they implode unto themselves by arguing over who's the best captain.

To be honest, I suspected this was a Poe when I offered it up for posting (basically on the grounds that it's too good to be true) but as it genuinely made me laugh out loud I went ahead anyway.
That said, I think it's very nearly as likely that 'uplooker64' (who's been on RR over a year and has made sixty-something posts) overheard the term 'raptard' and misunderstood it.
I'm thinking this is a direct result from the "sky is falling" "wolf!" tribes and the Rapture believers who are just rooted enough in reality to ignore the "ther comin' to take r guns" "Lockin' up priests" tribes.
I mean every cause/ideology has it's slippery slope arguments but a large part of Rapture believers have the dumbest.
