And yet, I just read an article yesterday about shocked parents discovering that their children were made to study Islam for three weeks in public schools. To the point of reciting together that Allah is the one true God over all!
No hypocrisy here...
Agenda anyone?

As a former teacher in a French school, I can say children study what each monotheistic religion says and what differentiates them, but there is no prayer or declaration of faith involved. My only regret is that they do not do the same for paganism.
I will hazard a guess, and say that it happened during religions' study. Islam probably wasn't the only religion they covered that year.
are you willing to limit Christianity to the same place and timeframe? if not, you are hypocrite for giving it as example for your persecution.
Merely reading a text (ie the Quran) is not the same thing as believing it. I mean you don't think somebody reading Harry Potter will believe in magic as a result, do you?
Wait, you do believe that? It freaks me out that you can vote.
I remember learning about Islam in social studies. Somehow, nobody in the class converted.
I'm shocked to find out that people are so scandalized by the mere idea of learning about other people we share this planet with.
Comparative Religions. Part of Humanities. Which is what I was taught at state schools here in the UK. Decades ago.
The UK still has a state religion to this day: Church of England. Protestant . No 'Sharia' here, ergo, no 'Agenda'.
Your point, The Last Fart...?
"No hypocrisy here..."
But lots of lying.
Yeah, I'm going to have to see a reliable cite for that claim before I believe it.
And face it, you're just pissed because you want religion in school, but only your religion. You keep tearing down the wall of separation of church and state, and your scenario is likely to come true.
creativerealms: "They are learning about Islam and other religions and what those religions believe. They are not being indoctrinated into those religions."
Last Trump: "But learning about Islam IS indoctrinating them. We should NEVER have kids learn anything at all about other religions because they might convert and thus go straight to hell. While we are at it, we shouldn't have them learn about the theory of evolution either because they might start to actually understand it and go straight to hell even quicker."
Being taught about a religion does not equal condoning it or encouraging converts. I suspect that in class the children were taught that Muslims believe that Allah is the one true god, which is distinctly different to them being taught that Allah is god and Muhammad is his prophet (please be aware that it is the same deity as yours, and that if you'd recognise this is as beyond the pale, then you cannot claim that pushing Christianity upon others is permissible). Of course, with you being a renowned fundamentalist, you misjudge this, as you project your traits onto others, because you cannot comprehend that others are able to think differently.

Yes, that's called Comparative religions and it's a damn good idea.
To the point of reciting together that Allah is the one true God over all!
Bullshit, you're lying.
No hypocrisy here.
No, there isn't.
Agenda anyone?
Yes, you certainly have an agenda. My agenda s to pray for your speedy death in a horrific and really painful fashion.
We studied all major religions in protestant christian state school lessons... cos it was on the curriculum.
In fact we studied those way more than "our" own religion... didnt hurt, it was very interesting.
When I went to school we had a couple of Christianity lessons each week the first three years.
The next six years we studied the other major world religions, so we probably had much more than just three weeks of Islam.
I'd say the agenda was definitely to make us see Christianity as the most important religion.
@creativerealms
Because only two things can shake your Christian faith, Anything and everything.
It can't stand up to one little thing, Pokeman? Too much! Miley Cirus? Too much! Everything is to scare you, nothing is acceptable.
Confused?
